Former associate: Feedback
Beta Flight began as a training division in the original
Department H.
It was revived when Alpha Flight
decided to train Kara Kilgrave in the use of
her powers. Eventually it became an associate team of adventurers
to Alpha Flight,
although Alpha remained the "first tier" team. Beta was disbanded along with
Alpha in the aftermath of the Joshua Lord
scandal.
Department H eventually started up again, and Alpha Flight was recreated.
H had a "Beta Flight wing" but the only connection the wing seems to have had to
the former super-team is that it housed young, inexperienced super-beings.
Department H recently restarted Beta Flight using the younger, less experienced members of Alpha Flight. It is also possible that one or more of the children from the Beta Flight wing joined this new team, but that is uncomfirmed. The team was led by James Hudson II until his untimely demise. The new leader
for the team has not been revealed, nor is it certain that the team is still in
operation. None of the members of Beta Flight were approached by
Sasquatch when he put together the last version of
Alpha Flight before the team's demise, nor were any approached for
Omega Flight III.
