The original Omega Flight was created by
Jerome "Jerry" Jaxon to destroy James MacDonald Hudson. Jaxon died in Omega's first attempt, but his work was carried on by the robot called Delphine Courtney. After being forced into retreat on the second attempt, Omega was stopped and Courtney destroyed by the metal-manipulative powers of Madison Jeffries. Once away from the influence of Courtney, the surviving members of Omega Flight reformed.
The second Omega Flight is a group of superhuman operatives of the Master of the World.
In their first appearance they were defeated by the novice team of super-heroes called
Beta Flight. In their second appearance they were whomped on by the combined efforts of Alpha and Beta. Although the Master
has since reappeared, the second Omega Flight has not.
The third Omega Flight will be a group of super-heroes based in Canada, in a new book from Marvel Comics
set to debut sometime in 2007. The lineup has yet to be finalized, although one member has been confirmed, Beta Ray Bill.
