A Leave of Absinthe A Leave of Absinthe

created by The Absinthe Collective

directed by David Whiteley

mutatis mutandis produced The Absinthe Collective's A Leave of Absinthe at the Montreal and Ottawa Fringe Festivals in June of 2008.

The green hour is not yet upon them, but the denizens of this famous cafe are set to play. What is real? What is a creation of the Green Fairy? As Oscar Wilde once said: (or did he?) "After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally you see things as they really are, and that is the most horrible thing in the world."
