Another summer of Covid prevented any far reaching travel so we decided to explore our home province some more. The north shore of Lake Superior was an enticing objective, and we had heard good things about the coastal trail in Lake Superior Provincial Park. We booked a seven day backpacking trip here with a couple of friends, and then planned to spend another week or so vacationing in the area with nothing specific on the agenda. The planned hike was a great success, and we enjoyed it so much that after a couple of days of relaxation, we headed further north to Pukaskwa for some more coastal hiking of the Mdaabii Miikna trail.
