Felicia left a message in Malibu for Kathleen to call. She's worried because Zane practically threw them out. Wally laughed lightly and said he wasn't mad at her. She asked why he hadn't given her an engagement ring in that case. He laughed again and let Zane in as he left. Zane asked her to lunch with him and Annie and presented her with a tackle box. A monogrammed tackle box. Isn't that nice.
Catlin and Sally went to the Northwoods Inn [for dinner said he; for cocktails said she] following an appointment with the marriage counselor. Catlin saw fit to bring up the itty-bitty fowl dinner as a prelude to saying he wanted her back. He said he wanted her to see in him what she saw in him then.
Chris yelled at the assembled doctors for not caring whether Mac & Rachel died. The doctors tried to be soothing. Dr Longo said Chris was trying to save Mac because he hadn't been able to save his own father and Rachel was merely being ill in sympathy as it were. Neither can possibly have tomb dust disease. They think being madly in love with Nancy warps his judgment. [That about covers it.] Chris is suspended. Forbidden to practice medicine anywhere for 30 days. Exit Chris.
Felicia is at a loss. Zane had her open the box. Eventually she found her ring which he was afraid was loose but she wouldn't let him take it. She loves him. She cried. She has to find Cass. She asked if he were getting freaked out over the size of the wedding. He denied it. He wants what she wants, not what Romance Digest wants. She admitted they wanted to call it the wedding of 10,000 flowers. He asked if she intended coming down the aisle as a parade float. Wally rushed back and said Cass' place was crawling with cops.
Catlin gets the feeling all Dr Atkinson wants is to do is get the mad at each other. Sally explained the point was to get them talking. Catlin told her she had been more than a lover, she had been his Best Friend and still was. She said she'd thought like that until Brittany. He doesn't want to talk about her. Sally the inexorable said she was the cause of all their problems. He told her all he'd done to banish her from his life. She dredged up the sleeping with. He said he'd been a jerk. She said she couldn't forget that. He said it wasn't Brittany who was causing the problems [ a lot he knows] but the two of them. She said not telling her about Britt and Evan was a big thing and he hadn't trusted her. He said he trusted her now. She asked why he'd thought she was sleeping with all of Lesoleil and told him he was a jerk. ["That phrase keeps popping up" said he]. She said she'd loved him and he hadn't tried to understand about Lesoleil and had hurt her a lot. He admitted she was right about everything but he'd never meant to hurt her. She didn't believe him. He said he'd never known what it was like to have a good marriage in which folk worked things out together [what did we do with Brittany? Let her give in?] She left although he tried to detain her by holding on to her arm and saying she wouldn't be upset if she didn't love him. She said she was upset because they'd had something really lovely and it was gone.
Chris told Rachel about the board's decision. Rachel won't jeopardize his career even for Mac. He said he'd appeal this but told Nancy in confidence that he couldn't really but he couldn't abandon the Corys. He doesn't want Rachel to know he's going to cure Mac sneakily. Nancy's willing to help can be sneaky in the lab. "McGowan ... You're an OK broad."
Nobody loves DA Martin. Felicia is worried. Wally loves the ring. Felicia called Elvira again. She was out so she left a message for her to call the Northwoods Inn. Dee donged. She was brought up to date. Dee was enlisted to get him out of the airport without being seen by the law. Exit Dee. The rest feel Cass is doomed. They went to dinner at the Northwoods Inn with Annie. Elvira called. Wally found out she hadn't heard from Cass at all. The florist has called fit to be tied. Felicia fled to console him. Annie feels ordinary around Felicia. She thinks the wedding's getting out of hand. Felicia returned. Annie was kind about Cass. She left them to be alone. Felicia feels bad. But Zane makes life bearable.
Chris and Nancy broke into the lab. Pam found them. Chris begged her to turn a blind eye. She went so far as to pitch in. She posted Nancy as guard and took over at the computer.
Catlin is drinking coffee morosely alone. Wally tried to feed him but met with resistance. He asked if he'd heard from Cass but he hadn't. [Fat lot of good you are, Ewing.] Wally and Catlin both are sorry Sally left. Wally returned to Felicia etc. Cass wasn't on the last flight. They made Dee eat with them. Enid drifted over to be introduced to Zane. She took it upon herself to remind them it was through her that the restaurant had been saved through her machinations. Exit Enid. Everyone laughed at her. They abruptly cheered down when Martin appeared. They were not nice to him. He says all he has to do is wait for Cass not to appear. Neal arrived. He ran into Victoria and arranged to eat with her.
Mac is physically stable. Mentally not so good. The doctors told Rachel of Chris' suspension. They assured her no one's life depended on Chris. Exit doctors. Rachel's mad.
Pam admires Chris. He sent her home having kissed her nicely. She wouldn't let Nancy desert her post to help him because life will be bad if he's caught. Nancy's put out.
Neal left Victoria in order to watch the Cory children. She followed him. Felicia wondered where she was racing off too. Dee pointed out that there had been a MAN leaving. No word on Cass. They posted Dee at Cass' place to make sure he gets to an officer of the court before midnight should he come home. DA Martin is smug. He picked up the tab for their dinner and told them he had evidence they had accessorised. 19 minutes.
Nancy unable to wait longer burst in on Chris. The computer solved the problem. Nancy was overjoyed. They set to work. Enter somebody in authority. They crouched behind something.
3 minutes.
Victoria saw Neal with Fayez. The chopper was heard in the distance. A man heard Victoria lurking about.
