ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

February 4, 1986

DA Martin: my my look at the time. I think I'm about to turn into a pumpkin. Felicia: from your mouth to God's ear. Wally keeps trying to feed him. He keeps telling them that they're accessories etc. Zane: what kind of time could I get for assaulting a DA? Martin: is that a threat Mr. Lindquist? Zane: I was just kind of feeling left out. DA: the ball's about to drop. 5-4-3-2 — enter Cass. Cass: should auld acquaintance — so what's happening?

Vic: so now he's got a friend, a helicopter, and an abandoned mine. What are you up to, Mr. Cory?

Pam Bondi managed to get rid of the intruding doctor and Chris fled to Mac's side.

Ada suggested a lawyer to get the hospital to permit Chris to fix Mac. Rachel's afraid Chris will abandon them because of his suspension ... and a little afraid he won't. Ada's confident his doctoring instincts will win out and he'll save Mac. Enter Chris. Rachel signed her consent. Enter Joyce and a slew of doctors who got in a panic and called for Dr Longo.

Martin: take your hand off me. Cass: I'm sorry. Hi everybody. Have you got room for me? Felicia: yes. So nice you could make it. Cass: well I'm glad to join you. Oh, I missed the guacamole? Aw. Martin: I'm sure you think this is all very funny but I think there's a couple of things I should remind you of. Cass: I'm all ears. DA: you neglected to show up in court today. Cass: that was my option. Dear: well your bail option is up. You were ordered to report by 11:59 PM on February 3rd — Cass: TO AN OFFICER OF THE COURT. HELLO, OFFICER. [Hello, Will.] Felicia: does that mean that his bail is not revoked? DA: if one interprets the law in its broadest sense, yes. [Grit. Gnash.] Tremendous laughter on the part of our hero and his associates. Gaudeamus hodie. DA: I don't like you, Winthrop. Felicia: [in an undertone] I wouldn't let it worry you. I don't think he likes anybody. The DA declared his intention to prove Cass had fled the state and put him away. Nice town he said and glided out evilly. Gaudeamus hodie. Felicia hit Cass and forgave him. She asked after Kathleen.

Victoria is suspicious of Neal but she sees the need for prompt flight.

Cass is despondent. He's beginning to believe Kathleen is impervious. He decided to devote his energies to clearing himself to shut her up about looking after himself. Felicia pronounced him the most crass and insensitive man she knew and asked him to give her away. She told him about Fayez.

Somebody coughed a lot.

Neal thought about not getting along with Fayez who disapproves of his social life. They have to bury the chopper. Something went wrong. Neal wants to check out Jake's tape. Exit Neal. Fayez suspects Neal of showering Victoria with pilfered gems. He wants to know who she is.

Rachel panicked. Mac's condition went wonky. The doctors buzzed. CODE BLUE.

Bridget thought about the safety deposit box. Victoria got home all of a mess. She told Bridget she'd fallen in the mud and cut herself. Bridget fussed over her. She told her to fess up. Victoria said it had nothing to do with Jake. She said she'd do well to take up with a Cory and said rather hysterically he was crazy about her.

Mac righted his course. Chris decided it wasn't safe to inject him yet. Rachel's draped across him [Mac] begging him to hang on.

Victoria dismissed Bridget when Cass came to ask about Fayez. She said she couldn't tell him any more and he got annoyed because she wasn't trying. She said he was getting on her nerves and left. Bridget accused him of having upset her at which point he declared her the best thing since botulism and stomped off.

Jake discovered someone had tampered with his tapes.

Rachel told Dr Longo he was being a jerk and he should let Chris do his stuff. Exit Dr Longo. Chris can't inject Mac yet because he doesn't have the latest lab reports. Pam snuck them in and Dr Longo managed to interrupt the administration of the correct dosage. He dragged Chris out and told him to leave the Corys alone. He has been warned. Exit Dr Longo. Ada came to ask what he'd said.

Jake asked Maisie if anyone had been lurking about his room. He said someone had used his video equipment. Wally said it was probably Spielberg checking out the competition. Jake doubts it. Wally asked about Marley's fence. Jake was fogged because Marley's only paper was modern poetry. Maisie plied him with coconut cream pie to distract him. Jake sees Vic written in bold letters all over this.

Ada thanked Chris for everything. He went away. Nancy is driven up a tree by Pam's help. Ada told her not to go fabricating trouble. Enter Cass. Sorry about Mac. Nancy told him about Fayez. Cass mentioned Victoria's frosty reception. Nancy was not surprised. Ada said Neal liked her. Nancy said he had not been around long enough to dislike her properly, just since the night of the treasure party. This triggered etwas in Cass' brain. Ada and Nancy went to see to Rachel.

Vic refused to confess to Jake. He suspects her of fencing something and sneaking into his room. She proffered her alibi. Cass & Bridget. He hopes it wasn't her.

Chris gave Rachel one last chance to retract her permission.

Vic told Jake she was none of his business. She tried to leave. Cass ran into her and being nice offered to buy her a cup of coffee. She got him to say he'd had coffee at her house half an hour ago and stopped out. He asked Jake if he knew her. Jake: yeah, I do. Cass: lucky guy. He passed on to Wally and said he'd like to get to know Neal.

Neal says the tape is OK. Fayez is suspicious of Vic. He set Hector on her tail.

Chris said Dr Longo was a jerk but a damfine [sic] doctor. Rachel gave him the go ahead. Do with Mac what you will. Plagued with Doubts and Uncertainties Chris prepared to give him the drug.
