        Zhao Tang and his sister Jhimon were Chinese mutants who were involved in a plot to overthrow the Hong Kong government. The object of this coup was to prevent the 1997 handover of Hong Kong to the Chinese. It failed, and soon thereafter the siblings fled to Canada.

        It is unknown how Jhimon and Zhao came to be inducted into Gamma Flight. However, during their tenure they served to the best of their ability. [Unfortunately, the team's commanders were being influenced by an ancient source of great evil. -C]

        Shortly after Gamma Flight was disbanded by the Federal Government both Zhao and Jhimon were kidnapped by the enigmatic being known as the Sphinx. Zhao died while being experimented on by the Sphinx' scientists.

        There currently exists an energy being formed out of the consciousnesses of Zhao & Jhimon Tang, plus an unnamed scientist. Although this being has all of Zhao's memories it qualifies as a completely new entity, and Zhao Tang remains dead.

        Zhao Tang was a mutant who possessed the ability to fly along with the ability to shoot beams of intense heat from his eyes.
