CUTA is here, helping its members meet today's challenges face on. Our work is known around the world through activities such as the Transit Ambassador Program, Recognition Awards, and our research programs. Based in Toronto, CUTA's staff includes transit professionals and support staff who have a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. The team is led by CUTA's President and Chief Executive Officer.

  • APTA Heritage Trolley Site The APTA Heritage Trolley Task Force was formed to promote the development of vintage/heritage trolley lines and modern streetcar lines, to foster information exchange among those planning or operating such lines, and to encourage reasonable technical and safety standards.

  • American Public Transportation Association APTA members serve the public interest by providing safe, efficient and economical transit services, and by improving those services to meet national energy, environmental, and financial concerns. Over ninety percent of passengers using transit in the U.S. and Canada are carried by APTA members.

APTA members include bus, rapid transit and commuter rail systems, and the organizations responsible for planning, designing, constructing, financing and operating transit systems.

It provides information, research and analysis on all aspects of Public Transport including infrastructure, rolling stock, organisation and management. It also lobbies on behalf of its membership with international institutions such as the EU, UN and OECD. The current President is Dr Wolfgang Meyer, Board of the Cologne Transport Company (KVB) .
