Owned an 88 acre farm 2 miles southeast of Lynn, Indiana. It had one of the finest colonial homes and orchards in the vicinity. Both are buried in Quaker, Lynn cemetery.

John Lacey Hollingsworth-b. 1837 in Whitewater Twp, Wayne County, Indiana & d. 1911 he married 1st to Lydia Ann Peele on 29 Nov 1860 in Randolph County, Indiana...four children...[Isaac, Martha, George, & Emma; then he was married 2nd to a Millicent Peele Aft 1876...then he married a 3rd time to UNKNOWN on 13 Mar 1886. This John Lacy was son of Eli Hollingsworth and Elizabeth Ellis.

which is the next county east of Mahaska county. John Lacey,
his wife Lydia, Benjamin,Alva and Hettie are all buried in
Hopewell cemetery, which is across the road from where their

John worked in the famous Connary Mines with his father-in-law George Tuke. The Tukes descend from a Cromwellian soldier and are in two branches, one in Castlemacadam and the other at Drakestown in County Meath. He also had a horse that he used to work the fields with to make money.
