(...not unlike my life! Last updated September 2019 :)

So, who is this Greg guy anyway? Really, just this Canadian, now living in Ottawa, teaching high school mathematics and writing in his spare time. Married, with a house (own the parts the bank doesn't), and now a young daughter who is over a year old. Have two younger siblings, also married. Still have a pet peeve about the difficulty involved in writing HTML code from scratch, because most programs want to show you the result, not the code itself - but the NCF (National Capital Freenet) interface understands me. I mostly write serials these days.

• I attended Shad Valley at UofW in 1993.
• I helped in the production of the UofW math publication mathNEWS from 1995 to 2001 (and was editor for four terms).
• I became a member of the theatre group FASS in 1997, and was Chief Scriptwriter for "2001: A FASS Oddity".
• The Club That Really Likes Anime (CTRL-A) is the UofW Anime Club which I attended for years. ^^
• Ultimately, a graduate from the Mathematics program at the University of Waterloo. Computer Science major, Music minor.
• Recipient of a B. Ed from Queen's University in 2003.
• At my school, I've been involved in Canada's Capital Cappies for several years.
• I was interviewed on the podcast for Zannen, Canada, if you want to delve deeper into my anime history... Episode 59.

Yes, I have been involved in anime circles, including attending Anime North from 1997-2017 (plus 2019) which is over 20 years; see anime for more. And I spent three years writing and illustrating my own online web serial (Mathematics Personified); see writing for more, including how it became a webcomic. That should be enough to know to identify me. Though if you're wondering where 'hologrami' comes from, it's from the words 'hologram' (my nick/handle back in my Quantum Leap days) and 'ami' (who was once my favorite anime character). These days, I go by 'mathtans' on Twitter, feel free to look for me there. Oh, and I do have one other key interest.
