I'd have to say I've been a 'closet' naturist for years but it is only in the past year or two that I've actively sought out other naturists and participated in nude, social activities. I love it!

The first time I went to a naturist resort, Glen Echo, I was a bit nervous but only because it was a new situation, not because I was uncomfortable. In fact, I was a bit surprised at how at ease I felt. After that one visit there was no turning back, unfortunately, there aren't any clubs in my area so I have to travel to participate in activities.

I am a member of the Federation of Canadian Naturists and their web site is a great resource for information on the Canadian naturist scene. Joining is an excellent way to show your support for the naturist lifestyle and maybe even connect with others who share your interests. As a member you will receive their quarterly publication that contains some informative articles on naturism here and abroad.

Whether you are new to naturism or a veteran nudist, this site has some excellent clips of various naturist resorts and clubs throughout Canada and the USA. If you've never visited a club, this could help you garner enough courage to take that fist step. Go to this site and choose the 'naturist' channel. You will have a variety of short programs to choose from.

These are a couple of sites that have collected information about Naturism in North America and both have web based chat rooms where you can talk to other naturists. NetNude has a great system of message boards, as well.
