I've
moved around a fair bit and in every town I've made some wonderful friends.
Unfortunately, it's sometimes hard to maintain those friendships when both parties
move on with their lives. Who knows where they might end up? This listing is
by no means exhaustive, but these are a few of the people who are most important
to me.
At the top of
my list has to be Daniel who is the driving force behind this web site. He
is the computer whiz who did all the work. All I did was write the text. I
think he did an excellent job on the design and since he runs his own web
design business I'm sure he'd be glad to do the same for you ... at a price.
*Grin*
You can see more of his designs at his web page, just hit the link under
his picture
Penny
is my best friend and has stuck with me through the years since we were in university
together, many moons ago. This is a shot of Penny with her beautiful son, Daniel,
on his first birthday which was also the date of his christening.
Here's
the crew I worked with last summer ('99). There will be a few different faces
this year but these are the people I spend most of my time with in the summers.
We work together and play together so they are a huge part of my life.
This is my good
friend, Jon, who has recently moved to Sacramento in search of sun. I guess
it wasn't warm enough in Minnesota. If you visit his web page, I'm the uncredited
photographer of his pictures in Chicago. Do you think I can sue for credit?
Gary
and Angela were two of my best friends throughout high school. Until my trip
to Nova Scoita this winter, it had been a dozen years since we'd been together
and yet the years fell away when we met again.
Meredith
is another high school friend that I was recently reunited with and she seems
to be the only one of my circle who has gotten married! She met Peter in university
and it's been 5 years since they tied the knot. I'm almost jealous. :)
I
love this picture of Dan but I'm not sure he's as keen on it. It was taken very
early one morning as we sat in a park in northern Chile wondering what to do
with our day. This kitten decided Dan would make a nice warm perch.
I
met Alison when she came to work at the Old Post and Village and believe you
me, when you spend 24 hours a day in each others company you either become very
good friends or bitter enemies. I'm glad I can count Alison as a friend - and
she's coming back to work for a third year after a one season hiatus! Woo hoo!
