ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

March 26, 1987

Mitch knocked on Michael's door and went in. [Mitch: it's me. Michael: what's with the door? Mitch: it's automatic. You knock on it and it opens.] Someone threw something through the window.

The press is pestering Felicia. She is worried that Crystal's life is in danger.

Adam ordered a search of the apartment. MJ sent someone to find out who owned the apartment and the building. They found surgical gloves and Good Boy wrappers and jelly beans and marshmallow Easter bunnies. Adam said that the killer wanted him to know he'd heard.

YANKEES GO HOME. Michael told Donna she was going home. She refused. She pointed out that she knew Spanish and they didn't. They gave in.

The commissioner stomped by the address to chew Adam out. Adam said he was close to getting the killer. Big Al told him to get a move on. MJ fears.

Lisa agreed with Felicia that it might not be a good idea for Crystal to stay. She snapped at Jamie when he asked if she had a feeling.

The police found a printing set — not The One, but the same kind. The commissioner is not thrilled with Adam. MJ told him he shouldn't have put himself in danger.

Michael and Mitch and Donna went into town. Mitch asked Donna how to say Fat Man. El Gordo. There is a small child playing a game which involves singing very clearly about El Gordo, but they didn't notice. Mitch approached a hat seller and was told to go when he mentioned El Gordo. Michael addressed the population at large. Mitch offered chocolate to a hungry child and asked about the Fat Man. The child said "Fat Man here always" and fled. Suddenly Donna listened to the child's song and translated. "The fat man's ears, the fat man's nose, the fat man's eyes are always closed." A woman told them everyone but her husband worked for the Fat Man. She directed them to Father Diego. Michael bought hats and prepared to wait.

MJ said there was something to be said for Dr Glaser's childish theory. Adam was a little less willing to accept it. Big Al suggested they ask Dr Glaser to help do psychological profiles of the suspects. They got word that the apartment was vacant but Peter owned the building.

Lisa thought about Jamie begging her to be psychic for the police. Jamie wandered up and apologized. They chatted civilly. Her favorite colour is violet. Her favorite flower daffodils. Her sport is baseball, her team the Cubs. She changed the subject when he brought up her parents.

Crystal assured Felicia she'd be all right. A delivery boy brought up a heavy trunk of costumes for her. Crystal autographed a photograph for his sister. He was overwhelmed. He left. Crystal unlatched the trunk and decided to wear a dress she already had out. The killer peered out from the trunk as she brushed her hair. He emerged and tried to kill her. She struggled.

Father Diego put in an appearance. He became agitated when the Fat Man was mentioned. He advised them to leave. Michael explained about the undead brother. Father Diego freaked out. A mysterious woman who looked awfully like Donna set about proclaiming that her child was ill and they needed each other's help.

The police found no fingerprints. MJ keeps not mentioning Chad in the list of suspects. She's afraid the killer will kill Adam. Adam said the killer wanted to kill women in order to score points against him. Suddenly he bethought himself of Crystal.

Crystal tried to escape. She ran away to a payphone but found herself unable to speak. She fled as the killer came after her.

The woman moaned about her baby. Michael gave her money. She gave them directions to the Fat Man's hacienda. They asked her to be their guide. She agreed.

Crystal made for the elevator.

Mitch was suspicious of the woman. She led them to her pathetic excuse for a jeep.

Adam went up to Tops. Lisa clutched her throat and gasped that something was wrong with Crystal.

The killer cornered Crystal in the elevator.
