Apparently Vince wants Cass to sleep in the basement. Cass objects violently and told Kathleen so. He wants to rent out Ben's room to send Geld to Ben in California. Cass complained and complained until she shut him up by saying everyone else was out and kissing him. He said she shouldn't try to get around him this way. ("We're having a fight. It makes me feel cheap.") He succumbed.
Jamie wants to know where Peter is. He's foully annoyed. He wants to talk to him. Sally arrived. She'll talk to Jamie later. Liz told her not to avoid Catlin. Sally told her to stay out of it.

Dee's breakfasting with Tony. She says things with Cass are going great. She's singing his praises. Tony asked where Cass stays. She told him. Tony sort of warned her she shouldn't be too fascinated by such a dashed fascinating chap. Dee left for a minute. Rocco talked to Tony about business. Dee returned. Tony had to go. He said he was proud of her.
Cass is resigning himself to the rec room. Kathleen has to go to work. Cass has to attend to Dee when she returns. Kathleen has a meeting with Jamie. Cass wants to go to the Northwoods Inn but Kathleen can't annoy Jamie. They sort of fought. She left without time to soothe him.
This new man of Peter's denies all knowledge. Said something about the original man keeping a woman in a cabin. Not living together. Just looking after her. Jamie called Peter and gave him what for. Peter says he'll return tomorrow.
Sally's glad to hear Rachel's better physically. She apologized to Aunt Liz for snapping at her. Sally says she just needs time to get used to this new aspect. Wife & child. Sally left. Aunt Liz is going somewhere. Ever devious.
Marley introduced herself to Dee. And Nancy. Nancy admired her clothes and rattled on about Tony the Tuna Jones slimy little loan shark and his dealings with Cass. Dee fled for confirmation. Nancy and Marley went to the Loves' to get more of Marley's clothes. Jake got himself invited along. Marley thinks he's nice. Nancy can't think why he wants to photograph the inside of the house so much.
Catlin called Sally and made arrangements to see her this afternoon. Liz arrived and told him she'd known Sally since Alice adopted her and she'd always had a certain sadness in her face until Catlin happened along. Catlin said he'd seen it when they first met (well, wouldn't you look sad if on the verge of marrying David Thatcher?) and now again. Liz told him she knew about Brittany and Evan. He said he hadn't been able to tell Sally before. Liz told him all about how she couldn't tell folk about her late husband for years. She told him he needed to talk to Sally and he should make the first move. She can tell because she's overworking herself at the Complex and looking sad again. Catlin said he knew and he had. Liz was pleased. They're chummy. He called his wife Britt.

Jamie and Kathleen. He wants her to squeal on Peter if he starts being a jerk. Sally appeared. Jamie left. Kathleen asked about being romantic. (Cass accused her of being very unromantic indeed). Sally referred to everything regarding her and Catlin and romance in the past tense. Kathleen asked about the old house as opposed to the hotel (and I said to myself good GOD everybody knows everything. I didn't think it had been broadcast. Of course November 29 in the hospital they might just as well have said VERY LOUDLY "WE'RE GOING OFF TO HAVE SEX" but I wasn't aware everyone knew everything like this.) Kathleen was evasive about Cass sort of. Sally left. Kathleen's going to get Cass flowers.
Marley hates having her picture taken. Nancy doesn't appreciate it much. Jake told her of his KBAY prospects. Nancy asked him about his interest in the house. He said he was a cat burglar. She laughed. He said something involving the word sexy (I couldn't bring myself to listen again) and she fled after Marley. He went to Donna's weird room.
Cass wants to see Rachel about a recommendation. No go just now. Dee returned. He asked what was wrong. Burst into tears it sounded like. Tore up a sketch.
Jake photographed the room. He broke something and hid it. He didn't tell where he'd been when he returned to the girls. He took Marley's bag.
Dee threw fits. He was kind and on her side. She told him she knew. He was sorry. She's upset he was doing it not to die. She's upset about being the niece of a loan shark and one who beats folk up.
Catlin and Sally are going to talk.
Weirdness with Peter.
Catlin apologized for hurting her. Sally said she'd thought he hadn't told her because he still loved t'other.
Peter found something linking Catlin to Britt. His wife is alive he said.
Dee cried. Cass consoled her. She grabbed his face and kissed him. Enter Kathleen.
