Jamie told Victoria to let Michael deal with John alone. She ignored him, but Adam blocked the entrance to his office with his attractive person and the same advice.
John mocked Michael for paying his bail.
Nicole looked shaken. Cassimpostor yelled at Felicia for prying and ruining everything. Felicia demanded an apology and an explanation. She shed tears. Cassimpostor explained it was an engagement present for Nicole. Everybody calmed down. Nicole was touched. Felicia continued to be suspicious. Cassimpostor perceived that Donna knew it was a convenient marriage. Donna assured him she wouldn't tell anyone but asked to talk to him alone.
John accused Michael of being self-righteous and rigid. Michael said forgiveness was for fools. John refused to tell him what he was in for. Out in the hall Adam said he thought the reporter had had it coming to him, but still. Jamie stopped Victoria from going in to confront john.
The redhead overheard Felicia confiding her suspicions in Wally. She said Cass had overreacted about the scarf, but why was a new scarf heavily scented? She decided to delve [and spin?] a little deeper.
Jamie expressed concern for Victoria's health. Wally delivered a lunch invitation from Nicole. Victoria saw Donna's name writ large. Jamie said he'd be happy to chat with her anytime.
Donna told Cassimpostor that beneath Nicole's tough exterior was a sensitive and vulnerable little woman. [That, my dear, was more than obvious. The tough exterior is pretty flimsy.] Cassimpostor assured her he would protect her. Donna warned him of the dangers of propinquity.
John found out that Adam and Michael were old friends and Adam knew a few of the details of the divorce. He informed him there were still things he didn't know. Adam advised him to steer clear of Michael for a few days.
Michael met Mary in Tops to get some papers to peruse. She told him he should tell her his troubles. He clammed up. She worried about him. He went to peruse alone. She ran into Dawn, who had just heard Chad was going to be late. Mary insisted they have lunch together.
Adam and John had coffee. Adam told him he had wanted to marry MJ but when reality had intruded on perfection he hadn't been able to handle it so he'd lost her. John in his turn confided that his fantasy of Donna Love had been shattered finally because he realized after all this time he didn't matter to her. Adam asked if he could let him know if a dealer he'd met in the holding cell ever got friendly with him again. John wasn't crazy about the idea. Val gave him a paper to sign and Adam let him go, with an open invitation to drop by.
Felicia and Nicole made wedding plans. Donna appeared, having booked the chapel. Felicia went to take a phone call. Victoria appeared. Nicole set it up. Victoria noticed Donna's wedding ring and told her there was no point. Donna tried to stop her leaving. The reporter snapped a picture of them struggling. Donna leaped after him and John, coming out of the elevator, heard her complaint and, having grabbed the camera, exposed the film. The reporter stammered a few threats and left. Nicole sat Victoria and Donna down and told Victoria she was getting married and wanted her and Donna to be in the party. Victoria clutched at her head and tried to flee, but was intercepted by a more-than-decently-concerned Adam. He insisted on leaving with her.
Cassimpostor smashed a photograph of the real one.
I am surprised at Adam. Victoria's headache got worse. She didn't want Adam to take her to Jamie but he pointed out she had recently come out of a coma. He claimed to have an interest in her continued health. They went to see Jamie.
Felicia dropped in on Cassimpostor. He tried to get rid of her because he's expecting the redhead. She accused him of acting funny. He told her her paranoia did not become her. He mentioned the wrong year for her wedding to Zane. He kissed her and sent her on her way. The redhead arrived. Cassimpostor said he had to study his dates harder.
Jamie examined Victoria. She told Adam he didn't need to stick around. Once he was gone she panicked about the headaches. He said he was glad to see her getting human.
Dawn was nervous with Mary. They chatted about Scott. They seemed crazy about each other.
Jamie assured Victoria she was fine. She wants to grow up to be a decent human being. [does he care that she killed his aunt's best boyfriend?] Jamie suggested she become a candy striper. She gave in.
Wally and John chatted. Wally advised him to do something good for his soul. Exit Wally. The holding cell dealer [Frank Rafferty] approached John and suggested he might like to make a little money. John was receptive. Exit dealer. John phoned Adam.
Cassimpostor [in his funny accent] reviewed the journal. The redhead endeavoured to help him relax by means of passionate kisses. As he swept her into his arms, Nicole knocked on the door.
