Mary made very little sense. Vince told her she didn't have to face the job market if she didn't want to. Mac and Rachel rushed in to tell of Adam and Jamie's suicide mission.
Michael kissed Donna goodbye and told her to be good. He left. She heard John crashing around.
Adam and Jamie requested clearance. Jamie is feeling very dramatic and noble, being willing to die to save the girl he loves.
Lisa fussed. She begged Gollum not to make her do this. He promised to be gentle and proceeded.
John staggered around. Donna helped him as much as he'd let her. She diagnosed his shoulder as not being dislocated. Silence.
Mary was relieved that MJ had not gone without him. Mac and Rachel were nice to Tony.
Michael joined Adam and Jamie.
Donna rubbed liniment on John's shoulder. She worried about Michael's being out in the storm and explained Summer Island. John joked about his being blind. Donna yelled at him for feeling sorry for himself and denying he had a problem. She called him a coward. I think she left when he talked back.
Mac assured Tony he had a job and a raise. Tony has high hopes of Nancy but he's fairly bitter about Adam's having ruined his life.
Jamie spotted a light. They made out a wooded island and decided it must be the place.
Lisa became rather desperate. She told Gollum she needed more time and begged him to be patient. She pretended that she couldn't give him the love he needed without a little time. He suggested they put their pictures in her locket. She refused. He found Jamie's picture inside and became angry. [I guess she put it in yesterday when he was out of the room.]
John groped around for his shirt. "This would be funny if it weren't for the fact that this isn't funny. Well, I guess I'm doomed to live out my days shirtless. dOOmed." ["I just found a fip on the floor, Sir. I am no longer fipless."] He worried about Michael. He brooded about the touch of Donna's hands on his shoulder. Donna returned and gave him his shirt. She said she'd called the doctor and shoved a thermometer in his mouth. [I could cry. "I am doing something. I brought a thermometer."] The lights went out. "Could have fooled me," said John. He joked about the blind leading the blind.
Vince phoned MJ. Everyone talked about how worried she was about Adam because of this case. Vince said Adam was a strong man. Mary said there were limits. [I reproduced this only because I had thought she said there were lemons.] Everyone is looking forward to the wedding.
Sara told Chad that MJ loved Adam. He said he wanted MJ to be happy. He said sotto voce he wouldn't give up on her.
Michael tried to take the plane down.
Gollum became livid. He said Jamie was shallow and stupid. She denied loving Jamie. He told her she wasn't pure in heart. She gurgled and sobbed. He said she probably wasn't even a virgin. She called for help.
Michael pulled up at the dark. Adam gave Jamie a gun.
Donna lit candles. She discovered John had a slight fever. She said it couldn't be easy for him, having to find his way around in a strange house. He said he would have his regular cane in his left hand, and his brand new white cane in his right, and the only problem would be where to put the tin cup. Donna told him his blindness might not be permanent but he had to rage against it and not make jokes. He admitted he hated being trapped and ordered her out when she tried to be sympathetic. He phoned to order the operator to order him a cab. The operator tried to make him do it himself but he yelled at her and said he couldn't, he was blind. [I don't know about you, but I have had to dial a phone blind, and it can be done very easily. One counts.]
Mother rubbed it in. She told Gollum that Lisa wasn't pure any more and she deserved to die, like all the others. Lisa begged him not to listen to her.
Adam and Jamie ran across Mother's grave. They heard Lisa screaming and rushed up, scaring Gollum off. Jamie asked Lisa if she were all right. She was in shock and said nothing.
Adam turned Lisa over to Jamie and Michael and dashed off.
Mary had a cake. She made a speech about Gollum's victims. They are all praying for Adam and Jamie and Michael, except maybe Chad.
Jamie found Lisa's blood pressure was very high and insisted she had to be taken to hosp. Adam said to go and leave him behind. He intends to find Dr Glaser.
Mac and Rachel left. Tony charged them with messages for Nancy. Rachel doubts Nancy will love him again. Sara bugged Chad a little. Mary decided to apply for the job at Support. She then hurried to get Becky home.
Donna returned to try to take John's temperature and found him gone. She panicked.
Michael protested but Adam insisted he had stay and they had to go. Jamie didn't take much convincing. They left. Adam shouted a lot.
