Sara stopped Chad being nice to Felicia because she thought Felicia would want to be alone with Mitch.
Mitch was nice to Felicia, but he was unable to guarantee that Lisa would be okay.
Jamie got Lisa to the hospital and started bossing people around.
Adam talked to himself. Occasionally he called to Gollum to come and join in the fun. Suddenly Gollum called to him, like a will o' the wisp. Adam wandered around looking for him, getting muddy and soaked. Gollum laughed.
Jamie had the nurse leave so he could wash Lisa's face himself. He kind of treated her like a six-year-old. Lisa didn't say anything. Jamie was distressed to find rope burns on her wrists. He spoke soothingly and tried to get her to talk. He investigated the locket, which he'd never seen before and asked what Gollum had done to her. He told her he loved her.
Chad was nice to Felicia about her stupid broadcast. She said she was kicking herself for not suspecting Gollum at all. Chad thanked her for believing in him when no one else had. Captain Delaney phoned to say Lisa was in hosp. Felicia and Mitch rushed out.
Gollum taunted Adam with nursery rhymes. Adams slushed a lot.
Rachel and Mac met Zack at the police station. MJ is doing her knitting at the coastguard station. Zack told them that Adam had sent Lisa back and stayed on the island alone "because that's the kind of cop he is."
Chad found out Lisa was in fair condition and told Sara about Adam's lone stand. Sara kept saying "he could be — " and Chad said that Adam had been Gollum's number one Νεμεσις [Fridays Child!] But hey, Adam's very resourceful, don't fret. Sara suggested Chad go to MJ.
Jamie let Felicia in to see Lisa. Lisa talked to her. She whimpered vaguely and explained Gollum's obsession and that he'd killed mommy and daddy in a rather little girl fashion. She began screaming to have the nightie removed. Felicia soothed her.
Gollum chuckled. Adam got rained on. He pretended to get his leg caught in one of the traps Gollum had left carelessly lying around, and yelled for help piteously. But Gollum saw him first and realized that it was a trick. Red rover, red rover, let Cory come over.
Felicia got Lisa to sleep. She had become less hysterical when the nightgown was removed. Felicia and Jamie talked quietly. Felicia cried about her brother. Jamie told Felicia to go and rest and said he'd sit up with Lisa. Felicia left.
Felicia met up with Mitch. A bunch of reporters attacked her. Mitch told them she'd make a statement in the cafeteria in a few minutes. The reporters obediently departed and Mitch took Felicia out the back way.
Jamie asked Lisa if she'd ever been unconscious on the island, or if Gollum had given her any drugs. She said not. He said she'd likely be fine physically. He was about to go but she asked him to stay. He asked her to tell him everything that had happened on the island. She turned away but he was inexorable. She told him all about the dress and the vows and made him take the ring off her finger. Jamie promised her it was all over.
Sara knows that Chad is being blackmailed about something to do with MJ because she's a detective. She told Chad he was very stupid. Chad met with his blackmailer and said he didn't have the money. The guy advised him to get back into pimping. Chad refused. The guy said he didn't have much choice.
Adam's next tactic was to threaten to vandalize Mother's grave. He sounds rather hoarse and unlike himself. He tried to goad Gollum into revealing himself by wondering if he'd killed Mother himself. I think there was a shot and a scream. Adam advised Gollum to give up. He wondered where he'd hit him and pointed out that he could bleed to death even if he hadn't hit a vital organ. Gollum screamed again. There was a lot of splashing. Adam said the game was over.
Jamie told Felicia what Lisa had told him. Rachel and Mac arrived. Everyone's worried about Adam. Jamie said Adam was stupid and stubborn. These remarks were interpreted as being affectionate.
Adam had to fall back on talking to himself, since he thinks Gollum's dead. He played a record of the Wedding March. Gollum staggered in.
