I will most likely be arriving in Sheffield next Sunday or Monday & I will call you again then. I am sending you the first film (of London) which you can send away to be developed & I will send... no I won't. I was going to send you the map I'm using right now but it covers some of the area I'll be needing coming back down the west coast.

Anyway, I'll finish this letter now and try to mail it as soon as possible. I was feeling very lonely & unhappy yesterday but I think I triumphed against everything by arriving in Colchester. Today was much happier but I'm learning a lot about lonliness, self reliance & independence. I think if my legs get strong enough to handle the hills I'll be just fine. The weather looks good for tomorrow (touch wood) and I'll be writing again pretty soon, I guess.
