To propagate the leeks when you receive them,
please ensure they are planted in an organic compost,
like composted leaves with soil, not just plain soil.

We suggest you plant in a partial sun and allow
plants to go to seed for the first year.
Until you get significant propagation,
harvest only the leaf portion of the plant.
The leaf will give you a strong garlic, onion flavouring.

Leeks will be one of the first plants
to make an appearance in the spring.
