ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

August 31, 1987

John asked Donna what she felt for him.

Felicia led drinking of champagne to celebrate Sam's new job. Mitch left for Brava to do a little work. Michael told Cass he was going to let That Old Carrot destroy him.

John told Donna she had come so far she couldn't hold out on him now.

Peter met Victoria fleeing from the terrible sight. She demanded to be let alone. She tried to prevent him looking in the window, but he looked and made comprehending noises.

Donna told John she loved him like a brother. He told her she was A lying coward. She told him she'd never loved him. He made her look him in the eye and say it. She did, rather proudly.

Peter told Victoria she was his favourite niece. She fell apart.

Michael selected an appropriate table for the exercise and ordered a bottle of Chateau Lafitte. Felicia begged him not to break up any furniture. Mitch and Felicia invited Cass to have some fun with them. Wally relayed a message that the insurance company was on Cass' track. Cass left quickly. That Old Carrot came to Michael's table. Michael gave up without preliminaries.

John refused to believe her. Donna told him he was pathetic. He told her not to deny her feelings. "DON'T DO THIS TO US," he said viciously. She told him she could never be alone with him again and fled the room.

Jamie wheedled Ada into feeding him and Lisa after hours. He chatted about his work. (Glamorous rhymes with amorous. Just a thought.) The hospital called. He responded immediately. Ada and Lisa discussed how wonderful Jamie was. Lisa told Ada she loved him.

Rachel did not hear Amanda's anxieties. Mac borrowed Amanda for a second. Sam came by. He begged Rachel not to turn him in. He went to sign some forms. Mitch and Felicia stood around.

Michael blamed That Old Carrot for ruining him. That Old Carrot chuckled, said he was pleased to have attained his ends, and left. Michael thought hard.

Victoria tracked John down and tackled him about what he and Donna had been talking about. She told him Donna didn't deserve Michael. She yelled at him for being jealous of Michael and wanting to take what he had away. He denied wanting his money and success.

Cass insisted he was not upset when he saw some of Mitch's photographs of the Crash. He and Felicia and Mitch left. Amanda and Mac emerged from his office. The Corys decided they were hungry.

Jamie returned to Lisa. She told him she loved him and felt loved by his family. He said he needed her and loved her.

Victoria returned home and tried to ward off Peter. He quoted Donne -- "No man is an island." She said no one could know. He backed off but said he was available. She produced the photographs for him. He said he was stunned. He tried to comfort her. He expressed doubts in the authenticity of the photos, very cleverly. She couldn't believe it.

Ada tried to throw Jamie and Lisa out. She was quite put out when the Corys staggered in. Amanda was dragged into the kitchen to help Ada. She talked about Sam a little.

Peter kept refusing to believe it. Donna came through looking for Michael. For Victoria's benefit, I assume, Peter said that Michael seemed to be neglecting Donna, being out all the time. Donna refuted it vehemently. She told him to shut up about Michael. Michael came home. Peter left them alone.

John thought about Donna and various aspects of their prolonged argument of the past little while.

Cass and Mitch and Felicia returned to Tops. Wally confessed the check had come. (In the middle of the night? How odd.) Cass said he didn't want a cash prize for the death of his wife. Felicia ordered Cass to endorse it and put it to good use. He stomped out.

They Corys kidded around. Amanda promised Rachel she'd think about college. Rachel continued being abstracted. Amanda called information again.

Sam got to work. He intends to knock Mac's socks off, arrogant little beast.

Michael wonders what That Old Carrot's up to. He and Donna decided to get pregnant. They are willing to try as many times as it takes. They ran for the bedroom.

Sinister music.
