Marley asked Victoria to help her find out from Donna who their father was. Donna overheard. Vic refused to help. Marley rang off. Donna took fits at her and said no one but her had any right to know anything. Marley disagreed. Donna rushed out wailing for Bridget. Marley said if Donna wouldn't tell her there were other ways and left.
Carl and Daphne and Fayez are delighted with their plan.
Nurses rushed to pick Chris up. They put him back to bed. Chris raved and struggled. They gave him an injection. He subsided.
Nancy and Hawk are worried about Chris. They have to stop Carl. Nancy figures he'll smash her family.
Carl went over the calculations again. They have to return at first light tomorrow. He talked about the dust that reduced Chapin and Love to idiocy and death. Daphne and Fayez went on ahead. Carl suggested to Mac it would be fun should the dust claim another victim.
Marley poked about in the attic. Bridget came in and both got the shock of their lives. Marley was vague about her purpose. She said she was looking for Donna's diaries. Bridget disapproved but agreed not to give her away. Exit Bridget. Marley found a trunk with Donna's things and found the diary for the fall she was conceived.
MJ is eating like mad to compensate for the Lesoleil fast. Larry told her she didn't need the Lesoleil stuff and her problem was she was always comparing herself to Kathleen. She asked why he was in such a good mood. He said he was moving back home tomorrow. NOT THAT HE'S TOLD CLARICE.
Carl feels they should take precautions against Chris and Nancy. He suggested Daphne and Fayez keep guard outside the tomb. Daphne refused. Carl gave in with good grace and took his essential protective suit to bed with him. Daphne decided to steal the mask and tamper with it.
Nancy is going to wait before she tells anyone except Marley about Egypt. Hawk told her they had to flee tomorrow with Chris without going to the tomb.
Carl read a love letter to Rachel and turned out the light to sleep. And sleep he did. Blissfully, as Fayez crept into the room and stole his mask.
Dee's plotting a video with a good twin and a bad twin. She can't get a grip on the good twin. Jake enthused about all of the wonderful strong qualities of the good twin. She accused him of talking about Marley and oozing love for her from every pore. He said it was over. Enter Marley. Everyone was terribly civil. Dee tried to leave them alone but they insisted they didn't want to be. Dee's friend Janice in a leotard came in and flirted shamelessly with Jake. Dee was unthrilled. Jake was unthrilled. Everybody went out leaving Marley behind.
MJ thinks Larry should talk to Clarice first. He doesn't like her ignoring him. He can't handle seeing her with another guy. And life is pretty dull most of the time so he wants to experience the occasional thrills with his family. He doesn't like being alone. She gave him her blessing.
Chris raved in his sleep. He tried to get up but he fell asleep on the way out of bed.
Marley read Donna's diary. She was madly in love with Michael and went riding with him every day. She liked escaping from the house. We were graced with a scene in which Donna at 17 emerged from a party in a white dress and was attacked by Michael. He was a little forward but she told him she loved him. They entwined themselves. Marley imagined meeting Jake in the stables where they confessed their mutual love and kissed. Jake said they could make it on their love. Back in the diaries Marley discovered her father's name to be Michael Garrison.
All of the evil in Egypt was in a good mood this morning. Daphne's afraid Chris will get away. Carl has a man to take care of him. Carl went to get his protective suit. Daphne told Fayez she had destroyed the filter in the mask before he restored it. Carl will breathe the dust all unknowing.
Jake dropped by wanting to see Dee. She wasn't there. He came in to wait. He and Marley agreed to be civil to each other. They hope it will make Dee happy. Marley asked if she could talk to him. He offered his ear gladly. She asked about his father. He died when Jake was very young at which point Jake's little world all but fell apart. He asked why she was interested. She made him promise not to tell anyone else but she was going to find her father.
Chris is quite well now. He tried to organize his bed to look like he was still in it but he was interrupted by Carl's man. He tried to make conversation but Carl's guard is the strong silent type. Chris asked what he could do for him.
Marley told Jake she'd found Donna's diaries with His name in them. She thinks he can know about his daughters. Jake said he'd help her [and I said MY ANGEL]. Marley asked what they should do and suggested a private detective. Jake suggested Ewings [and I said DEAR BOY]. Marley was delighted and grateful. She thanked him for being her friend.
Nancy and Hawk discovered the still form of a Carl guard in Chris' bed. WHERE IS CHRIS?
Carl put the keys in the lock. They sat back to wait for the sun. Carl chatted about how lucky it was that he'd thought to double check his mask and discovered the defective air filter. Daphne was unthrilled. I suspect him of tampering with hers. The keys began to glow with coloured lights. Excitement mounted.
