ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

May 30, 1986

Victoria thought about Marley's home truths. She told herself it wasn't true and she'd prove it. She started scrubbing makeup off her face.

Donna's helpful comments were unwelcome. Catlin asked Brittany where she'd been. She said she'd been out driving with the only friend she had — ZANE.

Freddy Dorfman does not like women. Zane asked him if he'd seen a man in a tuxedo 3 weeks ago. Kathleen produced a photograph.

Cecile tried to tempt Cass with a variety of fruit. She failed. He said he'd give in if she'd tell him what was going on. His body for the truth.

MJ arrived at the Pig Whistle. Captain Dorfman said that was too many women. When Kathleen said Cass had been supposed to marry her he said he figured he'd done him a favour by dropping him in the middle of the lake. Kathleen got upset.

Brittany told Catlin Donna had upset her and twisted all of her words at Rachel's and she would never deliberately hurt anyone. He told her he couldn't forget she'd hated his wife and left. Donna told Britt she'd have to get Zane to back her up. Britt said Zane was her friend and he'd tell the truth. Exit Donna. Brittany started a frenzied telephoning.

Victoria called Donna in her Marley voice and said she'd taken an apartment. Donna told her she could live at home. She said she couldn't face Victoria. Donna said her voice sounded forced. Vic said she'd see her in a little while and hung up.

Cecile told Cass she had wanted him and realized she loved him. He said she could have millions of guys. She said she needed someone she knew loved her. He seemed mollified. He called her a duplex and asked what she really wanted. She said if he stayed for a month he could go back to what's her name. She said he might even enjoy it. He refused to give in because she had lied about having a shortwave radio and electricity.

Zane got Captain Dorfman away from the disturbing women. Catlin rushed into check Britt's story. Zane explained to them that Freddie had not dropped Cass into the lake but onto another ship. The Corsican headed goodness knows where. They have to talk to Captain Olsen, its skipper. Catlin found out Zane hadn't been with Brittany when Sally died.

The Redmans swooped down on Cecile again. Cass was given into LaRusso's care. "you know I just would really prefer it if the Redmans wouldn't visit so much."

Peter stared at a string of pearls so hard it snapped and scattered pearls everywhere. When he bent to collect them Vic as Marley appeared and helped him. She asked him what he thought about Victoria. He said the nicest thing you could say he could say about her was she was interesting. "Victoria is vicious, underhanded. You found that out. She uses people. Victoria is selfish. If she doesn't want something from you, then forget it, you just don't exist." He said it was a good thing she'd found it out when she did. She thanked him for being honest and fled. Alone she insisted it was not true.

Zane advised Catlin not to go making wild accusations. Catlin doesn't think they're all that wild. Felicia wandered up and told Zane Brittany had left an urgent message for him to call. Catlin felt justified. Zane said they'd see and went to call Britt. She begged him to cover for her. He said he couldn't. She begged him to lie and say he'd made a mistake. He said he couldn't. She said she didn't want him to think she was a liar. Donna appeared and said "why not? That's what you are." Brittany glared at her. Catlin said he was on his way over. Britt hung up. Zane told Catlin he wouldn't let him go off half-cocked because Brittany wouldn't have killed Sally. Catlin said he would get to the bottom of this regardless. Zane asked him to wait until he could go to. Catlin subsided.

Britt told Donna she wasn't even human. Donna told her Peter was on to her. "He may be slow and methodical but once he turns he turns forever." Exit Donna. Brittany muttered "I hate you. I hate you."

The Redmans bored Cecile silly with tales of Dickie's speedboat. Cass was rather more interested. He managed to free himself and derail the alarm. He started out the window. Dogs started barking. Cecile told Gloria to turn on the alarm. Cass rushed beachward to Dickie's boat.

Zane suggested that Brittany had been taking a stupid etiquette course she didn't want Donna to know about instead of killing Sally. He asked if Catlin after being married to her thought thought her capable of killing Sally. [I thought Zane had her longer, really.] They were interrupted by the arrival of Captain Olsen.

Bridget found Victoria as Marley and told her Vic was spoiled and bitter and jealous but she loved her like her own child. Bridget: she's all twisted up inside. I think it would be better for you if you stayed away from her awhile. Vic: yes but I thought no matter what she did she still loved me. Bridget: well you see Victoria's been hurt by so many people. I don't think she loves anybody but herself now. Vic: what about Jake? Bridget: not Jake either. The only reason she wants Jake now is because you've got him. He loves YOU. She said she thought Victoria meant well and advised her to forgive Jake and marry him and go away. Vic asked to be left alone. Exit Bridget. Vic smashed a photograph of herself and Marley.

Donna is worried about Marley. She told Peter of Catlin's suspicions. He went to work. Bridget appeared and told her Marley was in Victoria's room.

Captain Olson said he'd let two husky men take a large crate onto a seaplane.

Cass reached Dickie's boat. His disappearance was discovered. Cecile realized where he'd gone and Czaja, LaRusso, Marcia, Gloria, and Cecile ran after him.

Catlin told Zane he'd calmed down and left for the Loves' alone. MJ and Kathleen went to investigate seaplanes.

Cass started up the boat as Cecile stood screaming on the bank [shore?].

Vic told Donna she was taking a nap and Marley had gone. She wept alone.

Donna returned to the drawing room and bitched at Brittany about Sally. Britt went into labour and begged Donna to call the doctor. Donna didn't lift a finger.
