ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

January 30, 1986

Dr McIntyre asked Rachel's consent to move Mac to the psychiatric ward.

Dr Biggs told Chris that since Mac's condition was good physically they had also little time left.

Kathleen was utterly wretched. Cass has something to say to her. He can wait. She seems to doubt that he'll want to after a while. He's changed since they first met. Kathleen: you're a very nice man, Cass Winthrop. Cass: IT WASN'T ALWAYS THUS. Kathleen: no no no no. When I first met you it wasn't CLOSE to thus. Cass: a little egocentric, a little selfish — Kathleen: yeah, you could start with that. Cass: well, easy does it here. Kathleen: a little shallow, a little vain — Cass: I had good reason to be vain. Kathleen: oh, but you've CHANGED. Cass: oh, that's right, I forgot, I've changed. Kathleen: a lot of people even like you now. Cass: let's not get carried away. Kathleen: it's true. When I wheel down the street I always say "Cass Winthrop yea or nay?" And I threaten to beat all of the nays into a pulp if they don't change their mind. He told her never to leave him. She agreed not to. No unlesses allowed.

Rachel refused. Chris will save Mac who is not insane.

Michael Hudson is confident he has the job of new Love stableboy. Sure of Britt's approval. He asked questions about Marley's relation to the rest of the family. Britt was vague but he kept returning to the subject to no avail. He's got the job.

The closer the virus gets to the brain the less the effect it has physically. Mac's future is not bright. Chris called Bay City general to have Pamela Bondi run the serum run through the computer in the lab. Don't let Longo know.

Michael doesn't know about taking the job without meeting his employers. Donna's in Switzerland. He can tell Britt doesn't like her. He took the job. Exit Britt. He recalled being tangled up in a blanket on the floor of the stable with Donna. Enter her father. Michael came out of it.

Rachel mistook Nancy for Janice Frame and accused her of having poisoned Mac. Nancy fled having posted a nurse.

Cass and Kathleen played Monopoly. She wiped him out and rubbed it in. She told him to go back to Bay City. He refused to go without her. She didn't exactly refuse. He said he'd beat the murder charge and they'd start fresh. She thought about Christmas Eve.

Nancy ran with her woes to Thomasina and blamed herself for propagating tomb dust disease. Enter Carter just as she wailed that if it weren't for her Grant would still be alive. Tom sent her to look at Pam. Carter demanded an answer. Tom told him Grant hadn't died of his heart.

Annie bought a pie from Maisie for Peter. Enter Britt. They greeted each other with rapture [on Annie's side at least] and Britt asked about everything she'd been up to.

Carter got upset that Tom hadn't told him. He's mad that the hospital hadn't saved Grant. They heard Pam cheer in the lab and rushed to listen. Pam called Chris with the good news. They've found a cure. They have to work out the dosage. Carter's disappeared. Enter Dr Longo. They've been doing wrong. He confiscated the life-saving data. He's reporting Chris to the doctors' review board and figures he's out of a job.

Annie has put her boat trip off on account of Peter. She has no intention of pushing anyone into a relationship. Britt said she [Britt] didn't leave anything to fate any more.

Cass started packing with flagrant disregard for whose clothes were in which suitcase. She said she was going back to Malibu to write. He told her to come home for computer therapy. She told him she knew about it and yelled at him. He said he wasn't leaving.

Michael fuddled stocks over the phone. He called Loni. He has a lot of business deals piling up but they have to wait. He told her he had a job as a stableboy. He will be staying a few days.

An overdose could be fatal and the range of dosage from 2 to 15 milligrams. So risky.

Nancy was uncomfortable with Rachel because of the episode. Rachel asked what was wrong. Nancy confessed to Rachel's having thought she was Janice. Rachel's worried.

Kathleen told Cass she was going to Los Angeles. He said he'd go with her in spite of the police.

Nancy told Rachel about the cure to make her feel better.

Chris thought about the difficulties of dosage.
