Rachel organized Mac's party. Nancy and Ada returned from Greg's funeral. It's storming in Bay City.
Jamie invited Lisa to the party.
The Police Department saw a full-page ad in the newspaper demanding the resignation of Adam Cory. Adam blamed himself. MJ told him not to take everything personally. A message came about their wedding invitations.
The gang found footprints and cane tracks. Inference: John's presence. Felicia's flagging. Mitch plied her with water. Donna suggested they stop but Michael would none of it.
Lisa gave in. She said she had to go to the station house first. Jamie insisted she ride with MJ and Adam. They left. Peggy was disappointed to hear she and Peter were going to a party until she found out it was chez les Cory. Sara has no date. Who[m] to ask? [why not our good friend Chad? What happened to our guy Joe?] Mary assured her it wouldn't be all couples — she and Vince are going alone. [I doubt NANCY has a date. HA.] Chad providentially dripped in and asked Sara to come to a movie. She suggested he come to a party.
MJ told Adam they had to decide about the invitations and the deposit on the church and the hall. He was silent. She asked him to say something. He said apologetically he needed more time. She said she understood and asked if it were because she'd been with Chad. He wasn't sure. She raved at him about the wedding not fitting into his plans. He accused her of feeling sorry for herself. She sobbed a little and said his career meant more to him than she did. He said it didn't. She made some wild statement about his sacrificing their love to track down a killer. Darn tootin', said he and reminded her that lives were at stake. [I'm with him. Where is MJ's banorial spirit?] She accused him of having lost his objectivity and said she was worried about him. He said not to be. She asked why he couldn't put the case away at night. He said he'd made a commitment. She suggested he was working to avoid her. He told her earnestly he loved her and wanted to marry her but the job wouldn't wait. She threatened not to wait.
Peggy's such a climber. Vince suggested he and Mary and the cake travel together. She agreed.
The police escort made Nancy a little nervous. Tony phoned the Corys. Nancy answered. Tony told her he was innocent and he loved her and begged her to believe him. Nancy told him to turn himself in and said he was sick. She advised him to get help. The call was too short to be traced. Vince and Mary arrived.
MJ tried to leave. Adam told her very earnestly indeed that she had to believe he loved her but he needed time. Lisa arrived. MJ pulled herself together and went to change for the party. Adam said he'd be there. She told him she'd put off the invitations. Adam led Lisa inside. She said she was confused about Tony's guilt. He feels the same way. She had a flash of the computer. A note.
We found the rising sun parameter. The undead brother's behind the wall. Donna didn't want to let Michael go over but he kissed her and took Dr Cheng.
Nancy went upstairs. The storm's getting worse. Jamie arrived. Zack and Julie arrived. Sara and Chad arrived. [nobody screamed and locked up the silverware.] Peggy arrived with That Old Carrot in tow. She explained that Peter had had to leave town at the last minute so she'd brought the father instead. Rachel said he couldn't stay. "oh, how embarrassing," said Peggy. Reginald pretended to be wounded. Rachel was firm. Reginald insisted Peggy stay and went manfully out into the storm.
Donna fretted. Felicia seemed unwell. Michael returned and said he'd seen the Fat Man and Elizabeth and two goons guarding a bunker. Michaels afraid his pursuit might have increased the danger to John.
That Old Carrot returned and told Rachel his car wouldn't start. For some reason Rachel let him stay. [I wouldn't. Let him drown.] Peggy giggled with him in a corner. Zack was uncivil to them. He argued with Peggy about her paying no attention to the note in Quinn's purse. She countered with an attack on the police force as Adam and MJ arrived. Adam suggested that people party rather than snipe. Rachel praised him. He said she didn't know what he'd really wanted to say. She said he was too much of a gentleman. [oh. I wouldn't say that to anyone, for fear he'd take violent action.] Adam was uncivil to Chad. Chad enjoyed himself. MJ calmed Adam down. Lisa arrived and kidded around with Matthew and Jamie. Mac arrived. They all yelled surprise.
Michael made plans. Strategy. While the others created distraction he'll nip in and fetch John. Mitch noticed Felicia had a fever. JUNGLE FEVER. Dr Cheng said she couldn't travel. Michael said he and his men could go fetch medicine.
Mac was rendered speechless, for once. Trees are down and the river road is probably flooded. No way home. Mac was not thrilled to see That Old Carrot. Matthew proposed a toast to Mac. The lights flickered. Chad asked Rachel who Davis was. She said it was her professional name. He said good stuff and asked if there were more. She directed him to her studio. Mary hates storms. Julie screamed and said there was something on the terrace. The police guard went to assist with the road. The killer lurked outside.
