ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

May 1, 1987

Singing of Happy Birthday. The killer lurked outside. Rachel went up to Nancy's room to soothe her.

Felicia implored Michael to find John. Michael said he and Mitch would leave Dr Cheng to look after her and Donna. Dr Cheng recalled an old folk remedy for fevers. Artemesia vulgaris, I think he said.

Ada announced a poker game in the den. The men and Matthew got ready but Mary insisted Ada play Trivial Pursuit with the women. Peggy was surprised that the Corys were carrying on just like anyone else. Adam alone of the men did not join the poker game. He brooded on the killer's mash notes. Chad is nowhere about.

Rachel promised Nancy she was safe with them. Nancy said she thought maybe she should go away. Rachel advised her to think about it. They went downstairs. The killer broke a panel of the window and let himself in.

Mary got a bowling question she couldn't answer. A prowling Adam took notice when Sara asked Julie Ann what city was terrorized by Dracula and the Night Stalker. [Las Vegas.]

Poker. ['s unnatural, this separation of the sexes. Ada should have been let play poker, and I would have expected Jamie to attempt to fix his interest with Lisa.] Matthew seems to be cleaning up. Adam prowled in and said the women were fine. That Old Carrot joined the game. Peggy left him to join the women. [How CONVENIENT.] The killer locked the door of the den.

Felicia alarmed Donna by passing out. Donna screamed for Mitch. Mitch prayed for her and gave a pep talk. Felicia didn't die. Donna tried to sneak away to help Michael. Mitch caught her and told her to stop worrying but when he turned back to Felicia Donna fled.

Vince and Reginald bet $100 on a hand. Vince produced three queens. That Old Carrot had three nines and two fours. That Old Carrot was a pain. He bragged about his skill in bluffing. Mac suggested snacking to relieve the tension. Zack and Jamie followed him. They found the door locked.

Rachel asked Ada what an anthropophagist ate. Ada guessed corn on the cob. She was wrong. I was ashamed of them all. They were summoned to dinner. The lights went out. There was a certain amount of confusion. The killer attacked Nancy unsuccessfully. A lot of panic ensued. Adam, for the second time in a week, broke down a door. The men rushed to the women. The killer escaped out through the French doors. Nancy fell apart. Sara had been knocked down. Peggy suggested it was just hysteria. No one seemed inclined to agree with her.

Donna caught up with Michael. He was not particularly delighted to see her.

The Fat Man figures Michael's a day behind them. He ordered a grave dug. He means to kill John. Michael and Donna overheard.

Chad came in. Adam interrogated him. Chad said he'd been amusing himself in the studio. Jamie asked if he'd admired the fuse box. Chad denied having frightened any women. Sara made herself a trifle suspect by believing him. Matthew said the door to the den sometimes locked itself. Adam advised Rachel to send everyone home and let him and MJ look around the house. Before the phone went dead Mac got a call informing him the bridge was out. The guests must stay. Adam said no one could go upstairs or leave designated rooms. He and MJ went to look around. Zack bets it was Tony. [Dope.] Rachel assured Nancy he wouldn't come back.

MJ and Adam found someone had tampered with the fuse box.

Mitch and Felicia chatted. She wouldn't let him leave her side.

Elizabeth reminded the Fat Man that John was a valuable asset. The Fat Man said he was becoming a liability and he rather fancied turning his own lie into a reality. John suddenly demanded they open the door. He emerged bearded and wild looking.
