ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

February 28, 1985

Mac's going to pester the police. Donna doesn't want Marley to got to Tom's wedding because Carl's alive. Marley doesn't think he's back in Bay City. She's going. Donna's calling Peter for support on this.

Sally & Blaine at the cabin. Sally thinks Catlin's beginning to see what a good friend Peter's being and he has no reason to be weird about him. Kevin dashed in raving about his pretend pony Geronimo. He hopes for a real one upon Catlin's return. Sally told him Catlin would be back soon.

Peter and Catlin are meeting with Sheriff Otis Biggs and Judge Clarence Bellows before the hearing. Otis is determined to NAIL Catlin. The judge thinks he'll be put away for 3-6 months. Peter told them how well-behaved Catlin's been. Clarence doesn't think that has anything to do with it and Catlin still seems to have a pretty short fuse. Peter then played his trump card. Started quoting witnesses as to what had actually happened. "OTIS," said Clarence and took him aside for a chat. Catlin's thrilled to death.

Kevin's going to have a picnic with Geronimo. Sally and Blaine talked about love and at every turn we see how pleased Sally is with her lot and how Blaine's opinion of Sandy has plummeted considerably.

MJ's mad that Mac's gone. Jamie and Sandy are standing about telling her proudly how tenacious he is. The jerks. MJ doesn't think they can keep this quiet too much longer. Sandy says they'll get Hutchins and he'll pay.

Peter's not at his hotel. Donna still doesn't want Marley to go. She doesn't want people to know that Marley is maid of honour of such a person (although she's NOT a bigot). Marley doesn't care what people think. Donna was pettish. Until she clued in and figured out that Tom's pregnant. She said they must love each other very much and made Marley promise she'd talk to her about anything. Marley (bewildered) promised and Donna gave her blessing and let her go. Maybe she'll be happy she said to herself. She looked at the back of a painting that André had deemed hideous and saw a sticker with the Majorcan insignia on it. She summoned Sandy from the Cory lair.

Tom thanked Jake for his photographing. He's immensely flattersome. She dashed out and ran into Carter. Bad luck on the wedding day. They're nervous. They love each other.

Grant at the Hardings'. The three parental people arguing about procuring a honeymoon trip. Quinn wants Chicago. Grant wants near Milwaukee. Lily wants Niagara Falls. Quinn won. Grant insists on paying half. He left. Quinn & Lily are happy for her. Tom arrived. She wants Quinn to give her away. Quinn's thrilled.

MJ left. Blaine returned. She was upset to hear he'd rushed out to do Donna's bidding.

Donna showed Sandy. Underneath the sticker it said CLH 1966. Donna told him those were the initials in her Emily ring. They don't think they're Carl's initials. They don't know why his initials got to be on the painting. Donna says her father bought it, not Carl. Sandy wants it and he'll take it to the police eventually. They all want to nail Carl. Sandy left. Donna: I hope he finds him in time to get all our money back.

Sally making lists with a pen as says PLAINS MOTEL on it. Sinister? Kevin came in. He likes Catlin and wishes he'd come back. He told Sally not to be sad because Catlin'd said he'd be back soon and Catlin wouldn't lie.

Bellows is allowing Catlin to go home on probation. Otis: I'd stay out of trouble boy but I'll settle for you staying out of Dry Creek. Clarence: (in disgust) COME ON, OTIS. They left. Catlin thanked Peter profusely and rushed back to Bay City to marry Sally at Peter's suggestion. Peter's staying behind for paperwork. He'll see him in Bay City. At the church said Catlin and dashed out crying "Yeehah" or something to that effect. Exuberant.

Tom and Marley discussing Quinn and med school and everything. Marley told her she's doing the right thing. Mad best friend hugs.

Jake filming Carter working. He told Carter how beautiful Tom is. He suggested they do things together for want of Ben.

MJ dropped in on Grant. Vince is in Detroit but he'll be back in time for the wedding. Grant's looking at all of Carter's trophies and trying to remember not to push him to hard. He seems deeply proud of Carter.

Sandy at the Corys' again. The picture is bleak. Blaine called him down for Donnaing when he should have been with his family. He said she hadn't been there every minute. She said visiting Sally counted as checking on her own family. He called her petty. SANDY she hissed.

Donna botching a deb gown. She wants Carl caught so she won't have to do these HUMILIATING things longer. Sandy'll catch him. He's so nice. He's so sweet. He's such a NICE man.

Catlin returned to the cabin. Sally leaped at him like a sex-starved salmon. (During the commercial they managed to divest themselves of large amounts of clothing and arrange a vast expanse of sheet before the fireplace.) Sally: It's over. Catlin: Uh-uh. It's just starting. Sally: I mean being afraid. Catlin: So you WERE scared. All that bravery was just an act. Sally: No-o. I knew we'd come through this. I just didn't know when. Catlin: Would you have waited for me if I had to serve a term? Sally: What do you think? Catlin: I don't have to think, I'm too happy to think. (Kissing.) Sally: * Catlin: Is the wedding still on? Sally: I don't know. I'll have to think about that. (Catlin was very persuasive, mostly about her neck) yes the wedding is definitely on.

Peter in the bar eager for THE TRUTH. He left his number.

The police have done Mac's bidding. The Corys are wondering how Donna's father's painting happened to have Carl's insignia on it. Mac says they can't tell the police even in the form of MJ for fear of inside men. The phone rang.

* Note: Sally was laughing almost a little insanely and saying "Be careful" sort of through clenched teeth . Why I do not know unless her sheet was in danger of coming loose form its moorings. I do not think it was a major part of the actual dialogue. Perhaps not so much between clenched teeth as out of the corner of her mouth. Suffice it to say it was rather muffled.

When Catlin came in he said "Hey, pretty girl, how 'bout marrying me." Whereupon she flew at him as stated. This was wrong. The correct response is "I'd love to but I'm not sure how my fiancé would like it" followed by a sedate saunter over to where he's standing. He'd only been away a little longer than a day.

Marley makes no sense. To me. Tom finds her worldly-wise.
