ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

November 27, 1984

The criminals are moving their base of operations. Ross is taking over.

Cecile's been let out of her room. She's trying to think of a way to get Sally out of there. She changed clothes with the maid. (Bit of a language barrier there. She said she'd take of her dress, and the maid would take off her dress, and . . . "Oh, no, no, no. I like men. Macho . . . hombre . . . me? No, I'm not hombre macho. Oh, right, Cecile. Get yourself in deeper and deeper.")

Alice is visiting Mark. They don't know the state of his legs. She won't give a professional opinion. He says his head's buzzing. She's going to run tests.

Cecile, outfitted as a maid, was taken as such by Ross. Ross says he's calling the shots now.

Liquid sounds. Catlin's swimming back to Majorca.

Carl called and told them of Mark's recovery. Emily's upset that Peter knows. Mac has come to see Carl. He repeatedly mentioned that it was cowardly for Carl to try to hurt him [Mac] by hurting the ones he [Mac] loves. He accused Carl of sending Rachel's smashed sculpture. Carl produced the sculpture in question much to Mac's discomfiture.

Kathleen got permission to take a walk on the beach with Cass . . . and a police escort. "O good," says Cass, "now we can dig for sand crabs or maybe build a castle." He's concerned about Catlin, Cecile, and Sally (not in that order).

Emily's missing Peter furiously. She wishes she could explain to him she only did it for the sake of the babies. She says Carl was like a father to her. Frank says Ross has gone haywire. He wants Emily to talk some sense into him.

Cecile found Sally drugged & unconscious. She tried to get her up and out but Sally's pretty much out of it.

Cass & Kathleen are strolling on the beach.

Mark asked Joyce about Emily. She says everyone liked her. Mark knows about Bobby. Joyce asked him not to tell anyone. (Was that psychic knowledge?)

Cecile got Sally out of the room but she was forced to abandon her on some steps when Ross appeared. He took Sally back inside while Cecile hid behind some shrubbery. Sally's still out of it.

Ross suspects Cecile's gone to see her friends at the hotel. He sent a messenger to invite them to come to the new HQ. The plan: Emily will give some pills to Cass, Cecile & Kathleen. She will then go away in a helicopter. Ross & Sally will come later. But what about Frank? O yes of course Frank too. Ross denied being kill-happy. He assures Emily he won't kill them. I'm sure nothing could be further from his mind, the horrible homicidal maniac. He says the pills will put them to sleep. (But he didn't tell Emily they won't wake up.

More liquid sounds. Catlin (I should dearly love to say ran aground or washed ashore but he got there of his own volition) hit the beach finally. (And such a sightold them their story's been confirmed and they're free to go anywhere but the ranch. Cecile dashed in and said pointed things about yachts. Cass and Kathleen were going with her. (As soon as Kathleen changed into her TYCOON-HUNTING outfit.) Felipe left. Cecile's afraid Sally will be killed before they get there. Ross' messenger arrived. He said he had a message from Seņor Catlin Ewing.

Frank has somehow managed to outfit the still-drugged Sally in other clothes. He says he has to get her out of there. Ross stabbed him in the back. Frank died. Sally recoiled in horror. Ross stood smirking in the doorway.

If Catlin gets to Sally while he's still sloshing, he'll spoil her clothes.

Interesting fact: no matter how many times Catlin is deprived of all of his clothes, there is always some woman who is willing to supply him with more. (Without specific knowledge of his size, style preference, or whether or not he will ever be able to repay her. Generosity abounds.) Not only that, but they all buy at least one black T-shirt no matter what else there is.
