ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

March 25, 1986

Ed note: the original synopsis covers only about the last third of the episode, I have no explanation for why the first section would have been missing. The whole episode appears to be available on YouTube however.

Jake tried to sell his bike. Jake: Ernie, Ernie, Ernie, THIS is your lucky day. You are going to inherit quite a bike. Ernie: what do you want, McKinnon? Jake: I know you're going to think I'm crazy but I'm gonna sell my bike to you . Now don't get too-all-excited at one time. Ernie: look, man, I knew you was coming 'cause I heard your muffler from 5 blocks away. Jake: what you heard was the whine of a finely-tuned sewing machine. It's a mechanic's nightmare, nothing to fix. Ernie: you're the nightmare. In the end he got $2G and transfer paid for.

Victoria's imagination ran away with her. scene: Jace & Marley's wedding. The groom tuxed within an inch of his life, the bride in virginal white, and Victoria in red stood about listening to warped violins playing Here Comes the Bride. When asked if there was any reason the folks in question shouldn't be married Jake decided not to hold his peace and said Victoria was the only woman he wanted to marry. Marley was immeasurably distressed and fled after Victoria assured her she'd felt the same way a few months back about being rejected by Jake. The violins righted themselves and the ceremony began again with "Victoria" substituted for "Marley." Bridget interrupted her and said she was off to get a newspaper and Donna was off to get Peter. Exit Bridget. The violins resumed playing and Victoria said, "it COULD happen."

Cass' apartment is not equipped for a wheelchair but he assured Kathleen he'd fix it après the Justice of the Peace. She said that wasn't happening today. She's holding out for a church wedding with family. A simple ceremony [50 people] for pops. He said Vince hated him. She soothed him. The word "marriage" will soften him up. He was soothed [grudgingly].

Peter found Michael had given the Corys his notice. Donna is excessively protective of Victoria. Bridget produced the New York Times. Donna was paralyzed with shock.

Wallingford explained Jake's predicament to Dee. Unfortunately she doesn't hold enough sway with Uncle Tony to fix it. She says Jake is Doomed.

Frank Baines was pleased with Jake until Jake said he didn't have all the money. He told Jake he'd let him off the hook if he produced $2000 per week for 10 weeks. Jake said that was crazy. They brought up Marley. He said Marley wasn't to be involved. Frank asked if he could afford not to involve her.

Peter and Donna wouldn't let Victoria see the paper. Donna said she thought she'd be ill.

Kathleen decided to call Vince so that Cass could ask for her hand.
