ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

February 25, 1988

Michael kept a vigil at Donna's bedside while she had bad dreams about That Old Carrot threatening to shoot Michael. She woke up and told Michael he looked awful. He assured her his shoulder was fine.

Cass was let in to visit That Old Carrot. Scott found him. They chatted civilly for a minute. Cass left Scott alone with the Carrot.

André learned where a small cargo jet was being loaded. I don't know why he was using Nicole's phone or why he had to hide when she came into the room. Felicia brought a security guard over. Nicole assumed Cass had disarranged the papers on the desk when she went to look for a list of cargo. Nicole told Felicia she couldn't go to Monte Carlo with Donna in hospital. When Felicia chased her upstairs André let himself out.

Donna and Michael got excited about having a sonogram. Cass dropped by for a visit. Donna told Cass Nicole shouldn't worry about her. She ascertained that Michael hadn't Told Nicole. Cass made them tell what they were talking about. They cautioned Cass not to tell Nicole that That Old Carrot had killed Elizabeth because of her affair with Jason. Cass was stunned. Donna begged Cass not to tell.

Scott stared at That Old Carrot. He told the unconscious Carrot that he knew all about him and couldn't understand his behaviour. That Old Carrot opened his eyes a little. He said he'd never forgive him. He left. Disguised as a doctor André breezed into That Old Carrot's room and told him he was getting him out. That Old Carrot opened his eyes.

The security guard left. Felicia assured Nicole she understood why she couldn't come to Monte Carlo. Nicole fretted about her relationship with Cass. She's afraid if she has sex with him she might ruin their business relationship and their friendship. Nicole hates making a fool of herself over men so she has tried to be circumspect. Felicia pretty much advised her to go for it. Nicole left to visit Donna.

Cheryl chatted with Scott. Don and That Old Carrot are taking their toll on him. Cheryl advised him to rely more on other people.

Cass agreed that nothing would be gained by telling Nicole. Donna hopes Monte Carlo will take Nicole's mind off of things. Donna and Michael were happy to hear Cass and Nicole: The Relationship was getting somewhere. Jamie walked in and threw everybody out. Cass prepared to leave. Nicole walked in and said she wasn't going to Monte Carlo. Cass stared. Donna remonstrated with her. Nicole insisted Donna meant too much to her. Peter had phoned them and they'd told him not to come.

That Old Carrot refused to go. André said he had to be paid. That Old Carrot told him to take everything he wanted. André shrugged and made to go. That Old Carrot struggled to speak. "Take care... take care," he said. André assured him he'd take care of everything.

John found Michael brooding in the hall. John peered at his wound medically. A nurse wheeled Donna out. Michael assured Donna the baby would be fine if it was Meant To Be and if it wasn't they'd have a different one. The nurse took Donna away. Nicole and John suggested Michael wait in the coffee shop. John: Mike, look, I will not only spring for a cup of coffee I'll buy you a doughnut. Michael: have you seen the doughnuts down there? John: well, I've always figured that as long as they don't crawl away from you you can eat 'em. Michael: well if they do start to crawl away from you you can always dip them in the coffee. That would kill anything. John: I like the coffee down there. Michael: YOU WOULD. They wandered off. Cass found Nicole. He told her he wasn't going to Monte Carlo either. If she won't leave Donna he won't leave her. He'll tell Felicia.

Scott confided in Cheryl. Dawn rushed up with a message from Zack.

Michael and Nicole chatted about their siblings. He advised her to forget all about her fight with Donna because it was so nasty and silly. As Donna was wheeled past she called out that she'd seen the baby was a boy. Michael kissed her. Donna chattered on and on. Michael said he wanted to see next time. Donna promised to be good as gold. Donna is not aware that the Cubs are not a football team. Everyone left her alone with Nicole. Donna ordered Nicole to go to Monte Carlo. Nicole succumbed. She was so eager to go she made-up her mind to see if she could go with the designs.

André knocked the guard out and put him in a closet.

Dawn is due in court tomorrow for the decision. She's happy. She's working on a new song. Scott didn't say much about That Old Carrot.

Michael let himself into That Old Carrot's room and surveyed the apparatus attached. He picked up the IV tube.

Cass turned everything over to Felicia. As soon as she gets to Monte Carlo she is to phone Yves Chabot. [Immaterial, I suppose, but I wanted to spell it.] He's in charge of the models. Felicia admitted she thought it would be best if Nicole went. Nicole burst in and said she was going and they were leaving with the cargo in an hour.

André, dressed in the guard's outfit, boarded the plane.

That Old Carrot opened his eyes to find Michael leaning over him menacingly.
