Donna's plans for Marley's deb dress are a little ambitious. Marley's got to go. André arrived and started trying to rearrange Love life. Marley ducked out.
Mac's telling someone that Carl is alive in his opinion. They've discovered Rachel's Frenchman is in reality deeply ill in France and the one they had was an impostor. And the video camera. Mac said several hundred times "So he could watch Rachel."
Carl and Rachel back in Bay City. She says he's insane. He told her sometimes captives grow quite fond of their captors. She got a little hysterical and said she loved Mac more than her life. He said she was a loyal old thing and his plans fortunately required her mere lovely existence. Take off your dress he said. No she whispered. He said if she didn't he would. She complied unwillingly. From the sound of it they're in a horrible place. She's to sleep there and he'll find her a more appropriate dress.
Mac's a nut. (I hope Sandy doesn't go out in a blaze of glory giving his life for his father.) Sandy left for a hospital meeting. Mac's a jerk. The Corys are horribly waiting. Nancy went to keep a tryst with Perry. She doesn't want to let on. Ada's holding up.
Sally's helping Catlin pack. She sounds terribly sad. She (putting up a Brave Front) said a number of weird things about Wyoming and feeling housewifely. He's being terribly kind and she's sort of beginning to cry I think. She's afraid he'll be away for a couple of years. Catlin being soothing. (She's never been to Wyoming.) Sally ceasing to cry and apologizing like fury. Catlin said he'd be back as soon as he could. He wants to convey himself to the airport (so he can remember her in their home good god. And he asked her to smile. You sure are asking a lot she said shakily. I get to; I'm in love with you, he replied. IF you ask me the man's awful cheerful.) He kissed her and departed. She fell to bits.
Blaine trying to be nice to Ada. They hate Carl. Blaine was taken aback to hear that Sandy was at the hospital. Ada told her to go to the hospital. Mac was pleased. They feel that they [Mac & Ada] are the only ones who really understand. Ada crying.
Marley and Jake KIDDING back and forth until Jake said the wrong thing and Marley waxed sarcastic about her HUMBLE culinary accomplishments.
Perry's wondering about Nancy's abstractedness. He started talking about Carl's death. Nancy told him Carl's alive. They debated the point. Nancy told him if Carl calls him he has to tell her.
Sandy told Donna Carl's alive. She argued the point. Sandy convinced her. He told her if Carl calls her she has to tell him. Donna ignored this and went whimpery nuts about Marley. Sandy said Carl wouldn't hurt her he wouldn't let him (AND BLAINE ON HER WAY OVER!) No you won't will you she agreed. She promised to tell him. Blaine bounded in.
Rachel's tired. She asked what she had to do to get out. He said there was nothing she could do. He's disappointed she's collapsed so quickly. Sudden thumps and crashes and lively music. Screaming and yelling. He made her give back the key nicely. He said her sense of fairness had done her in. (Apparently she broke her chair in the scuffle.) He is weird. She is stupid.
Blaine was chilly. She told Donna not to worry about Carl. Donna left. They argued about leaving Mac. They quickly calmed down somewhat. But Blaine hotted up again when Sandy mentioned Donna. More argument. She thinks he's stringing Donna along to get what he wants. She says she doesn't know him any more.
Tom choosing wedding music. Nancy left. Marley's maid of honour. She misses the best man. She cou She invited them all. The Corys are unfit for conversation. Quinn left perplexed.
Bach for the processional. Tom bets the flowers will be ugly. I hate Carter. She loves him though. He doesn't believe in ugly flowers. Perry's uptight. He snapped at Maisie. Tom pursued him. He told her of Carl's threatened existence. (Tom: Oh, PERRY, are you all right? Perry: Yeah. I just feel like I've just BEEN HIT BY A MACK TRUCK.) He left. Tom told Marley. Marley squelched a customer and spilled a heck of a lot of coffee. Jake sprang to her defense when said (slightly damper) customer got nasty. Sent him elsewhere. Jake told Marley he was sorry he hadn't meant to imply she couldn't handle it but he couldn't stand it. She asked him if he'd photograph Tom & Carter's Friday wedding.

Maisie has been told about Carl. Quinn arrived. She said the Corys seemed to be waiting for something horrible to happen.
Marley rushed to comfort and reassure Donna. She says Carl won't come back.
