Vicky screamed a lot. Lisa broke a window open. Jason tied a rope around his middle and went down. They all worked together.
Cass looked around Drew's room making derogatory remarks. Drew came in. Cass said he wanted to talk about Nicole. Drew said his feelings were genuine. Cass disputed this remark.
Jamie refused to let Sam die.
Rachel worried about Amanda, who stood in a corner by herself, giving Sam advice for survival. Rachel missed Matthew. Ada told her he and his friends had probably gone back to the house. Mary came up to be sympathetic. She's on her way to visit Mikey. Jamie came out. Amanda stared at him in horror.
Cass and Drew argued about Nicole. Nicole came up and listened through the door. She heard them agree they were rivals for her affections and walked in. "I am nobody's door prize. Got it?"
Adam and Lisa tried to calm Victoria. She wailed a lot. Jason tried to reach Mikey without breaking a pipe. Lisa went to get a blanket. Jason kicked the pipe apart in trying to get down. Vicky screamed. Jason inched down.
Nicole accused Cass and Drew of having no respect for her. Drew went to make a phone call. Nicole told Cass she'd come to tell Drew to back off because she loved Cass and she'd be able to do it if he got lost. kissing. Cass left in a good mood.
Amanda ran away. Jamie went after her. Dr Abbott told Rachel and Mac that Jamie had revived Sam from cardiac arrest but there was the possibility that Sam could be brain dead.
Tracy yelled at Tad. Tad told her she and Kevin and Matthew were to blame. He said she was stupid to have come there alone. A crowd of muscular young men joined him. Tracy told him he didn't scare her. he told her she was a tease. She denied it. He said her brother had tried to kill him. She pointed out that Matt had called the doctor to save his life. He said she was lying. He told her she was garbage and her protectors weren't around. Matthew and Kevin burst in an ordered Tad to unhand Tracy. He obliged, the better to fight them.
Amanda sobbed uncontrollably. Jamie told her not to give up. Amanda said she couldn't bear any more.
Mary came downstairs with Lisa. Lisa said the gas company was shutting off the line. Jason got Mikey. They pulled them up. Vicky clutched Mikey and wrapped him in the blanket. She wept with gratitude.
Nicole tried to think of a way to tell Drew she didn't love him without alienating him. She wasn't very convincing when she told Drew she loved Cass. Drew promised not to pressure her. He asked for time. She admitted she was drawn to him. He embraced her.
Tad's gang surrounded Matthew and the Julians. All of a sudden a whole lot more young men appeared: a group of townies, who, of course, are friends of Kevin's. At first I thought they had been imported, but then I realized that they have all gone to Winston Prep school for this encounter. I don't think they're sure how far it is from Bay City. Tad said he'd get Matthew later. Matthew said he'd tell the police. The townies told Tad to beat it. Tad did. There was a huge hug of relief.
Jamie took Amanda in to see Sam. She held Sam's hand. Jamie left. Amanda told Sam she loved him. His head is bandaged down below the eyes. She thought about playing in the leaves and their honeymoon and his proposal and their wedding and stuff. She promised him he'd be all right.
When Nicole returned to the salon Cass welcomed her with candles. Nicole was upset and told Cass she hadn't been able to dump Drew. Cass was mad. Nicole said she was sorry.
Ada talked to Loretta on the phone. Vicky and everyone brought Mikey in and turned him over to Ronnie. Vicky thanked Lisa and told her she wouldn't tell Jamie about her and Adam. She was being nice. Mary told Jason she didn't think Vicky would be able to keep Mikey. Jason asked if the welfare people had to know. Mary said they did. Jason said Vicky loved Mikey. Mary said it took more than love to be a responsible parent.
Sam had another out-of-body experience. He and Amanda stood in the mist and he held a baby daughter. He kissed Amanda and then noticed he was holding nothing. Amanda held an invisible baby and said it wasn't funny when Sam said he couldn't see her. Then Amanda disappeared, although her voice remained. Sam asked where Amanda was. She told him she was right there.
Nicole told Cass she couldn't help her feelings for Drew. Cass didn't appreciate Drew's consideration. He agreed to give her time. He said he'd move into his old room. He said he would also see other women. She had to agree, but she was unhappy. He told her he loved her. She went to put sheets on his bed.
Vicky thanked Adam for his help. He appreciated her not telling Jamie. When Jamie appeared Vicky comforted him because of Sam.. Lisa hove into view.
Sam pulled at his bandage. Amanda yelled for the nurse. Sam found he couldn't see.
