ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

June 23, 1986

Brittany told her baby she loved him more than anyone in the world. Peter materialised before her and asked where that left him.

Catlin taxed Bridget with what he knew. She confessed that she had taken her [Victoria] when she was born.

Cecile called Kathleen uncouth. Cass tried to explain. Kathleen said she was sure it was fascinating but she didn't want to hear it. She consigned him to Cecile's care and stomped off. He called her name.

Brittany told Peter she wouldn't have married him if she didn't love him. She asked why he was behaving so strangely.

Donna got upset. Michael told her to let Bridget explain. She said Mr and Mrs Carson had sent her to collect the boughten baby, who had been turned over by a man answering Brandon Reginald's description. Mr and Mrs Carson (Grace and Philip as I recall) died 7 years later and Bridget just kept on looking after her. They found out about the twin and toddled along to Bay City to infiltrate, as it were. Donna was upset by Bridget's deceit. Bridget said she'd wanted her to know. Catlin slunk out.

Catlin came up on Britt in the garden sans Peter ON PURPOSE. She shoved the baby at him. "Thanks."

Bridget said she thought Victoria had been too ashamed of her past to tell. She has photographs and things to show Donna. Michael begged her to try to think of a place Vic might be. No clue. Bridget went to her room. Michael assured Donna they'd find Victoria.

Brittany flirted with Catlin in a vague sort of way, teasing him about not knowing one flower from another. He seemed not a whit perturbed. Peter thrashed about in the underbrush and Britt got the wind up. Brittany said they were going to pick flowers now.

Cecile assured Cass this meant Kathleen didn't love him anymore. He was slightly too stupid as yet to refute it. He insisted it had to be a dream. Cecile told him Kathleen was really gone for good and they were meant to be together.

Donna blamed her father and said she would do terrible things to him were he alive. She told Michael she needed him and she could change.

Catlin gave Brittany Evan's silver rattle for the baby.

Peter thought about what he'd heard while hiding in the shrubbery. He began mistreating a horse. It attacked him. He cried HELP, throwing those in the vicinity into a panic. Catlin to the rescue. Britt gushed and said Catlin had saved his life. Peter chafed. He took Brittany back to the house. Michael sent Donna after them. Catlin was mad because all the evidence points to Peter's having hit the horse across the face with his crop.

Kathleen asked to be left alone. MJ threw Adam out. Kathleen told her to go to. MJ returned in a bit and advised her to have a good cry. Kathleen sobbed and said she wished she could stop loving him.

Cecile dragged Cass back to the villa. He figured out why he had been so groggy. She told him Kathleen had gone away with Adam. He accused her of setting him up. She protested her innocence and advised him to accept the situation and relax.

Michael advised Donna to get some rest. He assured her he'd be there until Victoria returned. She begged for another chance. He said even dead her father was alive in her and ruining their relationship. He told her the name of the company holding her money in Switzerland. He's investigating who has it. (Brandon Reginald, who else , ick.)

Kathleen packed. Adam took MJ for a walk.

Peter made cryptic remarks. Brittany fiddled with Evan's rattle . She was vague about the source. He saw Evan's name inscribed and she said Catlin had given it her. He asked if Peter were a replacement for Evan, broke it, and stomped out .

MJ fretted about Kathleen. She said Cass had loved Kathleen so much and she hated him for doing this to Kathleen. He told her she didn't hate him. She said she wanted to go home .

Cass wants to tear Adam limb from limb. He decided there was no point in being faithful to an Adamized woman. He is a free man. Cecile encouraged this train of thought.

Kathleen was composed. She's determined to go back and start a new life. Adam called Larry.

Just like old times, Cecile. Kathleen will never forgive Cass . He kissed her and complained of a headache. Tomorrow. Cecile accepted this. They advised each other to rest. Exit Cecile. Cass: you set me up, Cecile. I'll see you burn before I go to bed with you.

Michael assured Bridget that Donna needed her now and she shouldn't give her notice. He watched Donna asleep and said "ah, Blackie. What your father did to you. What he did to us. Will we ever pay him back? I hope so."
