Rachel's angry about Carl. She's uninspired.
Cecile doesn't think Sally's in any immediate danger. Catlin does. Cass seems to be tending more to Catlin's side than Cecile's. Cecile and Cass convinced Catlin to stay behind. He went to his room (slamming the door) after threatening to tear the place apart if they got no results. Cecile: Sally is so lucky. He's just so much -- Cass: Passion, I know. Cecile: The guy is so volcanic. Cass: Yeah, the lava is SEEPING under the door. Right. He's a regular Mount St. Helens. Cecile says Kathleen's going to owe her one.
Kathleen was awakened and asked for the truth (after being truth serumed). She told all.
Rachel's wondering about Carl's perverted reasoning. Question of the day: is Sandy coming to Thanksgiving dinner?
Wallingford and his dear wife are covering for Cass (to Tony). Lily invited Tony to stay to Thanksgiving dinner. He's going to make salad. Felicia is concerned about Lily's mental health.
Cecile discouraged Cass from wearing his Spanish outfit. Expressive silences. Cecile sounds slightly jealous of Kathleen. She says Cass is different. Cecile wanted to wear Kathleen's stewardess outfit until Cass told her it was Kathleen's. (Then she said it was at least 3 sizes too big.)
Ross was watching Sally sleep. She woke up. He said he's enjoyed watching her from the very beginning.
Catlin expressed his appreciation for Cass' help. He says he's living for going back to Bay City with Sally. (Where the buffalo roam, and the deer and the antelope play.)
Ada told Brian about Carl's sudden passion for sculpture. He [Brian, not Carl]'s been invited to the Corys' for Thanksgiving. Sandy made it (wearing a black sweater and black jacket, both of which make him look utterly catburglarish). Nancy's on a mission of mercy. Brian begged Sandy to tell the Corys the truth. Blaine was pleased to see Sandy (but a bit wary). Is it just me or are her eyes looking hideous these days? Blaine asked Brian whats driving Sandy.
Nancy took Thanksgiving dinner to Perry. (He's in his undershirt for heavens sake. Fixing things at Tallboys.) Nancy (in that unsubtle way of hers) got herself invited to join him. Once invited she objected on the grounds that they don't have reservations. He said he was in cahoots with the owner. (Oooh. In cahoots.)
Catlin's wandering around the hotel room like a lost soul, peggoor sweggeet. Cecile told him not to get discouraged. She told him all kinds of things about wanting to see true love triumph. Felicia called but they were cut off abruptly. (How did this come about?) (Discovery: She systematically called all the hotels in Majorca until she found him [Cass]. That's ridiculous.)
Tony Jones was all praise for Lily. He left, with a threat for Cass' benefit. 3 chapters to go. Wallingford keeps trying to stick violent gangsters in. Lily thinks the book should be HOTTER. They're debating the respective merits of 'silken' 'silk' and 'silky.' Felicia overrules them in everything.
Cass and Cecile are getting ready. Catlin's still like a lost soul clutching Sally's handbag and thinking about dancing with/kissing Sally. (Note for Vida: Seeing the things from his angle would look pretty silly. Probably mostly 'Sally's face' or 'the top of Sally's head' and glorious Majorcan scenery in the background. Now this is bad, but five minutes of the top of Sally's head would be worse.)
Mac is wearing a wild red sweater. The Corys are going to sing Christmas carols. Mac denies making indecent fires. Phone for Sandy. 'S Carl, much to the distress of the party at large. Sandy has to leave for business.
Kathleen was told she'd just passed out. Ross tied her up and gagged her. She blames Cecile. (Kathleen was so funny being tied up. He told her they were having guests tonight and she started chattering brightly about meeting new people.)
Catlin warned Cass & Cecile about the ruthlessness of the people they're dealing with. Cass told Catlin to get the police if they don't contact him by 7:30. Catlin doesn't think the police will pay him any attention but he agreed. Cass & Cecile left.
'Nother note for Vida: seeing the things from Sally's point of view would be pretty weird, too. Either 'Catlin's shirt front' or 'Catlin's neck' depending on the shoes she's wearing. Can't you just see it now? This way it's nice & simple and they've already got the footage.
Note: If Catlin has to go back to Bay City without Sally, there'll be hell to pay when Alice finds out.
