Michael was not caught. Peter asked Bridget where his father's safe was.
Scott was allowed in to see That Old Carrot. Reginald asked after Mary. [But weakly. He wouldn't want anyone to get the idea that he's going to live out the week.] He was weakly glad to see Scott.
Tony met with Mac. Mac was a little cool with him. [Like Adam, he believes that promptness is a virtue.]
Mitch was suspicious of Rachel's motives. He suggested she not prolong the agony.
Mac told Tony he had to dig deeper and check his facts. They want to find the Pimp.
MJ chatted with a prostitute at the Pig Whistle. Charlene's pimp isn't much fun if she doesn't turn enough tricks. MJ established friendly relations with her but when Chad came in Charlene fled. MJ asked him if he knew her. He said not.
Bridget doesn't know. Michael waylaid her in the hall.
Tony suggested an in-depth interview with an anonymous prostitute. Mac warned him to be careful. He noticed Rachel with Mitch.
Mitch refused to meet Rachel. She told him she'd be at the apartment in case he changed his mind.
Bridget told Michael she really didn't know. Michael explained the situation in words of one syllable. She thought hard and promised to think harder. He went to look around.
Scott and Reginald talked about skiing and Mary. Scott is subversive. He wants them all to go on a ski weekend. The nurse came in and said Peter was longing to be let in. He was allowed. [The nurse referred to Peter as Scott's brother. I hadn't really thought of that. Scott's adoptive mother is not the same as Peter's mother. Do we make a half distinction?] Peter assured his father that he had Love Enterprises under control. Reginald tried [weakly] to talk him out of it. Peter assured him that he was doing fine. Reginald's protests became firmer. Scott got upset with Peter for having upset him.
Tony chatted up Charlene. She was friendly. He offered to buy her a drink.
MJ noticed Chad staring at Charlene. She told him Tony was a reporter and asked if he were worried.
Rachel waited. Mitch came against his better judgment. She's cleaning out the apartment. He gets to spectate.
Bridget pointed out things she wasn't to move or dust for Michael. The desk is a place.
Scott and Peter argued.
Rachel is showing Mitch just how over it is. She gave him his cardboard box. He said, "NOT YET." He told her he would always love her.
Charlene fled from Tony suddenly because of Chad's stares.
MJ told Chad she couldn't believe he was still doing it. He told her he was doing it until he could be the most wonderful manager in the world. He said he wanted to take her with him because she was such a wonderful singer and he cared about her. He wants police protection while he's running girls. She told him to forget it.
Peter found Bridget and Michael inspecting the desk.
Rachel tried to cheer Mac up. He asked where she'd been. She admitted she'd been with Mitch. He became bitter. She explained why. She assured him it was over with Mitch. She wants to stay with Mac.
Peter told Michael the study was off-limits to him. He showed him and Bridget out. Michael prayed that Peter would look in the desk. Peter found the safe.
MJ warned Chad that someone might turn him in. He asked for her help for old times' sake. She refused it. He reminded her that she had a lot more to lose. She told him she wouldn't be any use to him because she was getting off the Pig Whistle detail. He told her not to.
Mark told Rachel he loved her and he was sure she was sincere but her emotions swung back and forth. He said words weren't enough. She told him she would prove she loved him. He seemed dubious. Kissing.
MJ tried to talk Tony out of his investigation. He asked for her help in finding the Pimp. She said, "if only it were that simple."
Scott sat with Reginald. That Old Carrot is unconscious. Scott has doubts about whether Reginald set Vince up. He said he'd been a good father and husband in Paraguay. But what about now?
Peter doesn't have the combination. Michael phoned Wallingford about a job.
Mac is being difficult. He refused to sleep with Rachel because he needed time to regain his faith in her. How bizarre.
