Rachel, Mac and Nancy are in raptures because someone is buying Rachel's art. Mac is raving about the incredible greatness of this person--whoever he is.
Catlin's yelling at the sinister waiter. A lot of Spanish gibberish, the only bit of which I caught was "loco". The waiter reminded him he was supposed to be in his room. Catlin said he'd go back up but I'm not sure that he did.
Mark is stable but ungreat. Emily is perpetuating the myth that her aunt is ill. Her aunt in Toronto. Thoughts of Mark's being shot. Zipper sounds. Weird, eerie music.
Spanish gibberish again. Catlin didn't go to his room. He was stopped by a policeman (or something). Catlin insists that the sinister waiter knows where Sally is. The policeman sent Catlin to his room. (This is so funny, hearing all of these people being strict-wie-parents." You-will-go-to-your-room-and-you-will-stay-there." Odd.)
A man called Frank came and talked to Sally. She wants to be let out but to he says he has his orders and no harm will come to her. He sounded quite reasonable actually. Not sinister out to all. And then he said she reminds him of his daughter. (The tape was very fuzzy today. I waited for Sally respond to that and I heard "if you think" so I thought it was Sally's response ... until I heard the bit that followed "a woman can use tampons only some of the time ... ")
Cass and Kathleen are in pursuit of Cecile again. The saw her earlier but she disappeared.
Ross is arguing with Frank. He wants to kill Sally. Or Catlin. He's not fussy. Frank won't let him. (Ross: Two minutes alone with me and she doesn't say anything to anyone anymore. Frank: You leave her alone.)
Rachel's in a great mood. Blaine is saddish because she's felt like "Mrs. Sandy Cory" ever since they went to KBAY. She's lost her identity. Perry dropped by. Rachel found out Carl's the purchaser of her sculpture.
Catlin's in a state. He told Cass and Kathleen about the waiter. He's also found out the name of some town. Cass and Kathleen have agreed to go there to see if Sally (or, Cecile says, Cass) is there. Catlin's convinced of it. Kathleen said a couple of things about TEMPER. (not unjustly.)
Rachel's trying to buy the sculpture back. Carl's not selling. He also told her he's bought several others and is going to buy more.
Cass is " in disguise" in a black outfit (so as to look more Spanish than American. Kathleen: [doubtfully] are you sure you want to wear that? Cass: don't start with me, Kathleen.)
Sinister music. The occasional thump. Peter and Emily spooning. Peter has to go see Donna. Emily's real worried about her aunt. She made him some juice. She's making him drink it all.
Sally is begging to be let out. Frank doesn't want Ross in that section of the house.
Spanish dancing with Cass and Kathleen looking on.
Blaine invited Larry over to oil Alex's crib. (Ho yuss.) Perry has paid Mac back. Rachel told Mac about Carl buying the piece.
Carl's arrived at Peter's apartment. Emily is going to Majorca now. Right after she shoots Peter up.
Kathleen was rushed into a waiting car and spirited away. When Cass returned (after giving chase) the real Cecile was there.
Mac's raving about Carl. "The man is sick." "He's just toying with us. He's just playing some kind of cruel game."
Emily's area in Majorca is Kathleen and Cass. She's not to worry about Catlin and Sally. Carl woke Peter up after Emily left.
Frank is the unfashionable gangster, by the way.
Sally is unhappy.
Cass' joyful reunion with Cecile. Cass: Oh. Hi, Cecile. Cecile: Hi, Cass. pause. Cass: Cecile? Cecile, is that you? Cecile: Cass! (squeals of rapture). Cass raving about being insitutionalized. Cass: You look -- great. Cecile: You look -- a little ridiculous. Cass: I'm undercover, stupid. Cecile: We have to get out of here. They're going to come and get me. Cass: no they won't. They took Kathleen. Cecile: The sun's getting to you. Cass: No -- no -- they took Kathleen, Cecile, Kathleen. Cecile: why did they take Kathleen -- who the hell is Kathleen? Cass: Felicia's secretary. Cecile: Why did they take Felicia's secretary? Cass: Well, she looks like you. And she sounds like you. And we've been dressing her up as you. When Cecile got this sorted out she said there was something they had to do. Run. So they did.
