Sally and Catlin are getting Kevin a bike for Christmas. Kevin asked Mark if it was bad not being able to walk and if he was going to live there forever. Mark was rendered slightly upset (overcome by the knowledge that he's a burden on Matthews society).
Brian had some liquor. Liz found some mugs and a radio. They lit a fire. The chimney's clogged. They've discovered a sleeping bag.
Maisie wants to help Krystle. She tried to find out what he problems are. Cass told her he needs $5,000 by tomorrow. A man came in and came on to Maisie. Rocco took him away. (Maisie hadn't appreciated his attentions, you see.)
Thomasina asked Nancy if she can confide in Ada. She said vague things about not being able to handle things. Nancy understands not.
The rescue team of Blaine & Rachel arrived to save Sandy. They tried to get him out but were intercepted by Carl. He won't let them leave. A security guard was summoned to get them out under Carl's eye. (Carl didn't summon him. The Corys wanted him there so Carl couldn't do anything illegal to them.)
Alice is recommending Thomasina for doctorhood. Thomasina wants to talk to her when she has time. But Alice is so busy Tom said it wasn't important.
Cass and Maisie and Rocco and Tony are having a nice chat. Krystle is aghast because of the insensitivity of men. Maisie and Tony are sorry for poor sweet Krystle. Maisie told Tony Krystle needs $5,000. (Good move.) Rocco is shoveling pie into his face like hell.
Mark told Alice he's going to move into an apartment. He needs to be more independent. Alice doesn't want him to.
Sandy's still awfully woozy. Larry's on his way. Sandy apologized for hurting Blaine. The Cory women think they've got Carl but Sandy says its nowhere near concrete. Mac and Jamie returned from Chicago. Mac wants to be told what's going on.
Carl is shredding Sandy's notes on his evilitude. Talking to himself about betrayal. He shredded a photo of the entire Cory family (and its appendages, i.e. Jamie, Nancy, Ada).
Catlin and Sally are down in a hitherto unseen end of the Matthews living room. Canoodling behind the couch. They plan to formally announce their engagement as soon as they can get the two families together. (Christmas is as good a time as any.) Alice dragged them out from behind the furniture and plied them with cookies. She's just missed Aunt Liz. Mark knows where she's gone but he won't say in front of Catlin and Sally.
The old folks are playing charades for the bed. Brian and Ada won but they squooshed up to make room for Liz.
Carter asked Thomasina to come back to his place. She said that which happened the other night can't happen again. They're going to Smiley's instead.
Kathleen's talking to a photo of her mother in a locket. Berating herself for her stupidity and lack of luck. She's crying.
Mac was angry that Sandy hadn't let Jamie tell him. Mac and Jamie were unable to get to Chicago. Mac is glad to welcome his son back.
