ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

December 21, 1984

Catlin took his leave of the inhabitants of the Matthews house in general and Sally in particular. Honestly, that man cannot take two steps without coming into extreme contact with her face. (If it were Cagney I would say "without wrapping his lips around her," but it's not, and Sally's not Suzi, and they're not nearly as deeply weird as the folk in Henderson.) Mark assured Alice that Aunt Liz is all right.

Larry told Carl he'll get him.

Cass called Cecile to try to sponge money off her. Tony asked Krystle to have dinner with him Christmas Eve. Krystle declined.

The Corys are worried about Ada. There's a blizzard. A raging storm. Phone lines are down.

Carl asked Donna when she told Sandy. Donna told him his father's suicide was more his own fault than Mac's. Carl dredged up Marley and Perry walked in.

Brian's battery's shot. They're cold. Keeping warm in the sleeping bag. Catlin got there and was massively confused, interpreting it as a near orgy. They told him they're going to lend him the money for a downpayment. He's overcome. They said they wanted him and Sally to have a happy beginning. He said they would. "But how did you know that Sally and I were getting married?" "We guessed."

Perry asked what about Marley. He was not told. Donna left them alone. Perry told Carl no one wants him there and he should move out. Carl's going to pack.

Catlin called Alice to tell her everyone's all right. Alice and Sally had to rush out shopping. They left Kevin with Mark. The tree caught fire (faulty wiring). Kevin: Sally. Sally. Daddy.

Larry bought Clarice a computer for Christmas.

Vince asked Maisie to come to the McKinnon house for Christmas.

Catlin called the Corys too. Mac and Jamie want evidence on Carl. MJ's coming for Christmas Eve.

Carl's moving out. Marley and Donna are not displeased.

Kevin: Catlin. Daddy. Daddy. Daddy. Mark: Kevin, Kevin. Kevin. Kev. Don't be afraid. Kevin stood motionless behind the tree. Mark fell out of his wheelchair trying to get to him. He struggled along and managed to stand up.

Cass is trying to get to talk to Cecile. It's her coronation day. Wallingford came in. Cass couldn't get beyond a secretary. Wallingford was sure Cecile would come through for Cass. They're slightly depressed.

Some neighbor called Liz at the Corys' to tell her there were fire trucks outside the house but she didn't know the extent of the casualties. Liz and Catlin left hastily.

Marley says Carl was strange. Ben came and invited her and Donna to Christmas dinner at the McKinnons'. Donna was reluctant but Marley pressed her. Donna told Hildy she knew she's been spying on her for Carl and fired her.

Catlin and Liz got to the house. Catlin called "Sally. Kevin." Liz says "Where's Alice?" Sally returned (to be promptly wrapped in fond (and relieved) embrace by Catlin) with Alice on her heels. But where are Kevin and Mark? Alice called "Mark." Catlin called "Kevin. Kevin. Kevin." Sally called "Kevin." Liz sobbed.

Cass recalled Wallingford's comment that Tony would lend Krystle 5 G's in a minute. He looked long and hard at his wig and put it on, saying, "It is a far far better thing I do."

Kevin was found. Mark walked back in. On his legs. Alice made a strange sound (something along the lines of "ohohohohoh" but weirder) and threw herself into his arms. Everyone stood around looking at the spectacle of the vertical reunion of Mark and Alice. They're all happy (as clams). Kevin wants to help the firemen spray more water.
