Mitch showed up at the Loves' as a Cory representative photographer. He got in the way. He read Tony's letter.
Bridget came unhinged all over Adam. He rushed upstairs as Jamie and Lisa arrived.
Felicia came around. MJ called to Adam from outside to say the killer must have climbed the trellis. A note had been left. "Filthy. Dirty. Naughty. I thought you were a good girl. Good girls live. Naughty girls don't." Felicia said she hadn't been with anyone since Zane. Adam said the killer had no sense of reality left. MJ said the note looked rushed. Adam said the killer was losing control and he'd slip up. Jamie pronounced Felicia fit. Michael couldn't believe Tony had been in his office all this time. Donna fretted. Felicia said none of them were safe. The killer knows them too well.
John ran into Bridget downstairs. She answered his questions about the wedding attack on Donna. She rebuked him when he made to go. She said Michael wanted him and begged him not to go.
Adam yelled at the Press [Mitch] for snooping around. When Mitch found out Felicia had been the victim he wanted to go see her. Adam instructed him to spirit her away out of the killer's reach, secretly. He's not even to know she's gone. They dashed up to the house to put the plan to everyone. Donna offered the secluded lakehouse. She gave Mitch her key. They arranged to put it about that Felicia was barricaded in her suite. Jamie and Lisa left when Adam did.
Chris got a pizza. He means to leave town. John came in. Chris looked at him worshipfully. John rebuffed him. He phoned to reserve a flight to any place else. He gave Chris a-team spirit speech. Chris suggested he be the Lancers' coach. They both want to leave town. Chris' girl just became engaged to a spectator after a year-long relationship. John warned him it was hard to stop running.
Lisa and Jamie arrived at the police station just ahead of Adam. Lisa said that Tony and the killer were different impressions. Adam took notice.
Donna tried to convince Michael that John's leaving might be the best thing. He said John was keeping a secret from him and he couldn't understand it. MJ cruised through on her way out. Donna missed her photograph from a table and they feared lest the killer had taken it. Michael promised to protect her and to keep John from leaving. Donna became upset. Michael soothed her. He suggested she chat with Dr Glaser.
Lisa and Adam agreed that Tony and the killer were different people, especially since in Tony's open letter he spaces twice after a period. He wasn't sure enough to let Mac have the letter to print, though. Jamie and Lisa left. Adam brooded.
John and Chris were at Gino and Dominic's, by the way. They left separately. Tony crawled in to try to steal food. Gino [or is it Dominic?] recognized him and stabbed him. Tony escaped. Dominic [or Gino?] cursed him and phoned Adam with a confused report. It's Dominic. Adam sent men out.
Mitch and Felicia drove along. Felicia brooded about Tony. She thanked Mitch for all his help. She said she felt safe with him. He suggested they change the subject. There seemed to be another disco ball dancing fantasy to the tune of falling in love with love etc. Felicia told Mitch she liked him a lot. They heard of the attack on the news. She said she wasn't as strong as people thought. Mitch said she didn't have to be tonight since she was with him. [Sexist. Would they have any man admitting he wasn't in control and letting a woman prop him up? Doubt it.] They went up to Tops and very loudly and ostentatiously staged a scene with MJ and Jamie which left no one in any doubt that Felicia would not budge from her suite for days. They retired.
Bridget dispensed tea, shaking the while, worrying about Mr. Tony Carlisle. She told Michael John had been mighty interested in the attack on Donna and she'd wanted to reassure him in a motherly fashion. Donna begged Michael not to pester John. Michael said he had to know. John drove up.
Dominic told Adam his story. He said Tony would be bleeding all over the place. Adam said he'd get him. He wondered where Tony was and if he were the stalker.
Jamie advised Lisa to rest and think about happy things. Kissing. MJ got a call from Adam about Dominic and left. Everyone said how providential it was that Felicia was at the beach house, far away from Tony.
Tony staggered along.
John announced he was staying and limped incorrectly up the stairs. Michael and Donna were dumbfounded. Donna asked Michael not to push. He was too stunned to be very offensive. He left the room. Donna looked in John's jacket pocket and found the photograph he'd filched.
