Adam waited impatiently for MJ. Somebody bought a newspaper.
That Old Carrot was odious about the undead brother to Donna.
Felicia woke from a nightmare. Mitch comforted her in a very big strong man way. She groused about wearing Michael's socks. She fussed about his job. He insisted on staying. She became a little hysterical, even though her makeup case had been delivered. He said she needed him.
Adam said the Dominic thing was unlike the killer. Lisa felt that Tony was frightened and running. Adam said they should be able to find him.
Dr Glaser went to visit Felicia with lilacs. Wallingford and Donna said she wasn't seeing anyone. He said she would make an exception for him. Wallingford trashed the flowers [out of sight] but Dr Glaser settled in for the winter.
Adam returned to Gino and Dominic's to look around.
Tony suffered. He seemed to be recognized so he took off.
Felicia calmed down. She told a story about her childhood as Fanny Grady. She craved excitement and fun. She loved the glamour of the women in the movies. Mitch asked to hear more.
Donna told Dr Glaser that the police knew the attacker had been that Carlyle boy. [Dr Glaser seemed very killer like, but since being recast Donna's resource has deserted her so she noticed nothing and all but gibbered.] Wallingford reported that Felicia was seeing no one. [Only I thought the story was she was holed up with Mitch. Bad move, guys.] Dr Glaser said he'd wait and she'd change her mind. Donna took him aside to discuss her problems. That Old Carrot appeared and told her she had a fatal attraction for both brothers.
Adam wanted to go back to the office for MJ. Lisa sensed that Tony was afraid someone would recognize him.
The stranger tried to help Tony, who had driven off the road. He seemed not to have recognized him at all. Tony assured him he was fine and managed to get rid of him.
Fanny never fit in. She was born in Ohio in a nice little town. She daydreamed about big glamorous cities. She wanted to be Rosalind Russell. She loved His Girl Friday. She went to Europe and fell in love, with Monsieur, I guess. He started her on the pseudonym and the writing. She talked about Zane. She can't settle for anything less. She asked about his story. She asked if Rachel had been the Love of his life. He said she was in the top two or three but it was over because of Mac and Matthew. He said he wouldn't fall in love with a lost cause again. They heard a noise. Mitch went to investigate.
Lisa last Tony. A pizza from Gino and Dominic's with meatballs, anchovies, and double cheese was phoned in. Adam explained that he and Jamie had once ordered one of every kind for Ada and when they came she made them pay out of their allowances and eat all of it. Lisa approved. Adam loves Ada. Suddenly Adam thought that the killer's accomplice could be in his mind — MOTHER.
Cut to Dr Glaser. That Old Carrot pretended to be concerned about Donna. Dr Glaser went to the bar, leaving Reginald to talk with Donna. That Old Carrot pretends not to remember John's name. He told her he'd tried to spare her and she should admit marrying Michael had been a mistake. Donna told him he'd pay. He told her she was a terrible daughter and he wished he could help. He left. Donna told Dr Glaser That Old Carrot was right and she'd brought all her troubles on herself.
Lisa asked why Dr Glaser[i-mean-the-as-yet-unidentified serial killer] wouldn't hate such a parent. Adam said that abused children would go to any lengths to cover up to earn approval. Adam decided to look up Tony's mother.
Mitch told Felicia he didn't think Tony was the killer. Felicia said she hoped he wasn't but she'd feel better if they caught him.
Val reported a stolen vehicle. Nothing unusual about Tony's parents, who are teachers with good records in Chicago. Lisa got an impression of the numbers 762.
Dr Glaser told Donna to be harder on her father and easier on herself. She said she'd had SEX with Michael's brother. [No, you were raped by Michael's brother. Entirely different.] He asked what if her daughter were in the same situation. Donna said she'd think she was the same sweet girl she'd always been [I can't believe she's this stupid] and she'd made a mistake. But she was never a sweet girl, daddy told her. Dr Glaser [the man with the mother in his head] said if she stopped listening to the father in her head she'd feel better. He said she was a good person and deserved to lead a happy life.
Tony walked in on Mitch and Felicia.
