Bridget warned Victoria not to give up with Marley changing her mind about Jake. Victoria said she'd work on him with Marley away.
Dee commanded Marley to tell Jake the news she's not going.
Chris and Hawk took fits.
Nancy was impressed with their Egyptian place to stay. Beautiful and heavily guarded. Daphne offered to place Nancy's overseas call for her since it could take awhile. Nancy went to freshen up. Carl appeared from behind a sliding wall and caused Daphne distress by informing her he was staying in a hidden wing. He told her he'd had the phones put out of order and she was to tell Nancy she'd wired Cass to tell the Corys where Nancy was.
Chris called the Corys and found out they hadn't found the ring or received the letter and Nancy had gone with Daphne. He didn't worry them. He and Hawk have to save her.
Victoria decided Bridget should tell Jake Marley wanted to meet him to say goodbye. Then of course because Marley knows nothing about this she'll stand him up and Victoria will be there. Bridget doesn't like to lie but Victoria convinced her it was the only way.
Catlin denied ever having shopped at the store. He deduced someone had stolen his credit card. Sally overreacted. Catlin wouldn't let her call the credit card people to cancel it and said he'd go out to take care of it. She asked if they could do a fashion shoot at the cabin with Daniel the Lesoleil man. She said a lot of things but the only thing that seemed to stick in Catlin's mind was the fact that Daniel and Sally would be going to Arizona together. This made him bitter. He left to Take Care of It. [The credit card, not Daniel.]
Dee enlisted Tom's aid in trying to persuade Marley to call Jake. Dee informed her that Jake was a great hugger [she speaks from experience] and she had to strike while the iron was hot. They got her over to the phone but she hung up when he answered.
Carter's rib causes him not to be able to lift boxes in Smiley's. Jake told him it was over with Victoria AND Marley. Maisie is concerned about Carter. Bridget called to give Jake Victoria's Marley message. He's not thrilled to hear she's leaving.
Daniel and Sally are being photographed in the cabin. She's good fun. He thinks she's crazy. He said she was very beautiful and very married. Kevin says cowboys don't kiss. [The photographer told David [the hairdresser] to do something about Sally's hair. David: like what? Photographer: like COMB it. David: OUCH. [clapping his hand to his breast.]] Daniel said Kevin could be the Lesoleil man instead but Sally said only one Lesoleil person to a family. Aunt Liz came in and was unthrilled to see Daniel and hear Sally was back at Lesoleil. She left.
Victoria arrived at Smiley's and approached Jake.
Catlin found Britt in Smiley's and told her she'd had it this time. He's livid. She smiled delightedly.
Chris found out Daphne wasn't expected at Lesoleil Algiers. This means Nancy's in Egypt. Carl called in order to negotiate. Chris was high-handed. Carl warned him to watch his step. He can see him. Chris said he'd kill him if anything happened to Nancy. Carl said he'd give him Nancy for the pendant. Chris said he'd have to see Nancy first. Carl said he'd be in touch.
Victoria tried to patch things up with Jake. He was not cooperative.
Catlin threw Brittany into a booth. She said he was hurting her. He called her a little beast. SHE said "I borrowed it because I forgot to pack my nightie. Come on now, you didn't tell Little Miss Sally the truth, did you, NO, I'm sure you wheedled your way out of it just like you always do. We can't have any trouble in paradise now CAN WE?" She gave the card back. He can't believe what's happened to her. She said it was all his fault that she'd turned mean because she meant nothing to him and he had been glad to be rid of her. He said he'd mourned for her. She disputed it. He said he was through with her. He left. Outside Aunt Liz told him he was out of his mind for letting Sally go back to Lesoleil and he told her it was between Sally and him and none of her concern.
Victoria tried to rub it in subtly that Marley wasn't showing up. Jake told her to take it somewhere else. She told him Marley could be fickle. Tom arrived and told Jake Marley wasn't going away and she needed to hear from him. Jake figured out Victoria's plan, looked darling and fled to see Marley.
Nancy is tired but Fayez persuaded her to come out to the bazaar. Daphne stayed behind. Carl told her not to leave the villa. She's mad that he's playing games with Chris Chapin. Carl said he could avoid any trap Chris set. He says he's in for a surprise. He thinks Hawk's in Arizona. Hawk resumed his disguise. He hid when a bellboy arrived with binoculars for Chris. Chris very cleverly didn't admit he was himself. He was perplexed. Carl called and suggested they play a little game.
Victoria told Jake she needed him and clung to him. He pried her loose and stomped on her and left.
Maisie told Tom about Carter's trouble. Tom taxed him with it. He said he wanted to be left alone.
Daniel went to Smiley's and chatted with Britt. He told her he'd spent the afternoon in a cabin with a beautiful woman.
Kevin and Catlin decided to see Arizona and things with Sally after the fashion shoot.
Britt was interested to hear Daniel would be going to the southwest. She asked what he thought of Sally. He said she was a woman he could fall in love with pretty easily.
Dee left Jake and Marley alone. He asked if she weren't going because of him.
Carl told Chris where to look. Chris repeated the directions. Hawk dashed out. Chris feigned inability to find her. Stalling for time. He could see her the whole time through the binoculars.
