Dawn changed her mind about going at all. Chad seemed glad enough. Scott phoned downstairs to tell Felicia not to wait. Cass rolled up with two blondes. Wally gave him an invitation to a crap game.
Sam told Amanda to get to work. She's not allowed to have fun.
Donna said at first she'd thought John had sent them, but then she'd decided Victoria was testing her.
Amanda appears to get on Sam's nerves.
The invitation was too upscale for Cass' liking. He told Wally to accept as long as they could pick the locale. They and the sisters left. Dawn tried to convince Chad that she could go to school in Chicago. He advised her not to make any decisions tonight. He suggested she ask Scott to eat with them.
Donna yelled at John. John refused to deny that he 'more than cares about her' just because she said he should. She said he scared her. He said he loved her. He said she was afraid she felt the same way. She said she didn't love him. He said they couldn't change their feelings because of Michael. I cannot detail this argument. Everything John says sickens me.
Peter advised Victoria to stay out of it. She decided to go to the beach house. He said she should turn it over to Michael. Clara overheard and faked an attack to keep Vicky from leaving.
Sam apologised to Amanda for being hard on her. She almost let it slip that her mother was an artist. She asked if he'd ever read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. He decreed they should break for dinner.
A pair of spiked heels walked around in a warehouse. She hid in a trunk when Cass and Wally came to check it out for the crap game. Enter Rocco with Tony the Tuna right behind. Cass was nervous about cracked ribs and broken kneecaps. Tony said he'd never broken a kneecap in his life. Rocco noticed that Cass wasn't wearing a dress. It was Tony's invitation, and a friendly one. The blondes are his. Tony suggested that Spiked Heels' trunk be placed in front of the door to keep intruders out.
Amanda avoided talking about herself. Sam noticed. He left for Gino and Dominic's without her. She followed.
Donna collapsed on the sand in hysterics. John picked her up. She tore at his clothes. They got soaked (it's pouring). John asked her to admit the truth to him even if she couldn't tell Michael. She broke away. He tackled her.
Amanda found Jamie in Gino and Dominic's and told him not to let on he was her brother when Sam came in. Jamie was confused. Sam came in. Jamie advised Amanda to ask him out. Amanda said it would be unprofessional, since he was her boss. (Jamie: Amanda, do you have a job, or does he just order you around a lot?) Then she decided to do it, but he was talking to a platinum blonde.
Tony offered to extend credit to Cass when he got in deep. Wally advised against it. Cass made him lend him the money. Cass lost a bundle. Tony objected to Wallingford's use of the word gangster. ("It always makes me think of Jimmy Cagney shoving that grapefruit into Mae Clark's face. So -- MESSY.") Then he wrote a cheque for the foundation, for double what he won from Cass tonight. He said he missed Kathleen. He left with his entourage. The trunk was handled a little roughly. Wally approved of Tony's actions. Cass didn't. They left.
Sam left with the platinum blonde. Jamie asked for an explanation from Amanda. He doesn't know anything about this. He was beeped. Chad and Dawn and Scott came in to eat. Chad told Dawn she could stay in town. Jamie had to go to look at Clara.
Peter told Victoria he'd wait for Jamie so she could go check on Donna and John.
John carried Donna inside. He brought a towel to dry her off. He refused to let her leave. "Running away isn't strong," he said. He refused to leave town. In fact he said he should put themselves ahead of Michael and what she thought was right. She said he didn't care how much he hurt Michael. He said what about how much he was suffering, and how much she was suffering. He said they were done talking. (PIG.)
Victoria came up to the beach house.
Cass made Wally come back in because he thought he'd heard someone sneeze. Wally convinced him to leave. Spiked Heels came out of hiding and looked around some more. She doesn't seem to move very gracefully. Cass came back. She fished a gun out of her purse.
John kissed Donna. She struggled briefly, but succumbed.
Victoria looked in the window.
