Wally came in after Cass. They decided to leave. Again. Spiked Heels put her gun away and prowled a little longer. She found a crate stamped BAV.
MJ joined Chad and Dawn and Scott. She and Chad went to get a carafe of wine (since MJ has noticed that Scott is interested in Dawn). Adam came in and gave Scott something for Zack. Scott introduced him to Dawn. Chad and MJ came back. Adam did not look pleased. Dawn asked Adam to join them. He declined. He borrowed Scott.
Victoria was distressed.
Donna pulled away and told John never to try it again. He maintains that she does not feel less for him than he does for her, and implies that she is kidding herself trying to live up to Michael's high standards and would be better off not striving for purity and goodness. She won't admit anything. He grabbed her and kissed her again.
Victoria said, "I hate you."
Clara confided in Jamie about Victoria's quest. He promised to go look for her if it would keep her calm. Bridget fussed. Exit Jamie.
Cass noticed he'd lost a sentimental cufflink. He sent Wally on ahead so he could look for it. So Cass went back in, and Spiked Heels crouched and got her gun out again.
Donna pulled away from John. He accused her of wanting him. She said he'd forced her. He asked why she wasn't leaving. She got as far as the porch. Victoria hid. John told Donna she was still lying to herself. She said Michael was her husband. He told her to run to him and when she came back he'd be waiting. She fled. Victoria watched John go back inside. He poured himself another drink. Then he left.
Scott was abstracted. Adam found out that Mary and Vince were getting divorced. He was surprised. Scott was eager to get back to Dawn. Adam sent his best wishes to Mary. Scott joined Dawn at the juke box. He told her he was adopted, and had wondered about his real Mom. They picked a favourite song for her Mom. Someone to Watch Over Me.
Warehouse lurking. A cat meowed. Spiked Heels slit open a box and rummaged through the contents. There were clothes. She let herself out without taking anything. Cass came out of hiding. He read Barbara Van Arkdale's name on the box. (I should say she's an American designer and has something to do with Felicia's trip.) On several boxes, actually. He hid in a crate. Spiked Heels came back.
Chad watched over Dawn. Dawn doesn't want to be a drag. She asked Scott how Chad felt about MJ. Scott figures it's pretty confused. I don't like Dawn. MJ gazed at Adam as he sat alone, drinking and brooding. He was looking away.
Jamie found Victoria huddled on the beach in the rain. She told him to go away.
Donna ran in with John on her heels. Clara told them this had gone far enough. She treated them like fifteen-year-olds. Donna said nothing had happened. John sneered that Donna had the official version and went upstairs. Clara went after him.
Jamie tried to bundle Victoria up. He told her Clara was worried. She told him Michael was being used. She got hysterical. He said he'd take her home.
Adam and MJ came face to face at the phone. He told her he'd heard about the divorce. She smiled shakily and said it hadn't been a great year for the McKinnons, marriage-wise. She kept going. He looked after her rather sadly and left. Dawn thinks Chad looks lonely. She's shy. She wants Chad to let her have her own apartment. Scott told her he rented a room over Mary's Place.
Spiked Heels opened Cass' crate. They wrestled for her gun. Cass knocked it out of her hands. She hit him and backed away.
Clara watched John pack. He asked her to sit down. He asked about her dizzy spell. She insisted she was all right. He assured her he wouldn't interfere with Donna and Michael. She said she'd miss him. He said they'd see each other. Donna overheard him tell his mother he really loved her [Donna]. She ran into her room.
Jamie brought Victoria in. Bridget told her that John and Donna had arrived together. Victoria became agitated. Jamie asked what was wrong. Victoria said Michael's heart would be broken. Bridget fussed over Victoria. Jamie left. Victoria watched John come downstairs with his duffel bag. He said goodbye to Bridget. Victoria asked if he was really moving out and not not her beach house. He told her to take care. Clara burst into tears. Bridget led her away for a cup of tea. Victoria went with them. John looked at Michael and Donna's wedding picture and let himself out.
Donna found John gone from his room. She looked out the window and said "NO," rushing from the room.
Cass and Spiked Heels dived for the gun at the same time. They struggled. He recognised her as Nicole Love.
Donna ran downstairs and screamed out the door after John. Victoria appeared behind her.
