Donna got dolled up in order to visit Daphne. She told Bridget Edouard Gerard was in Bay City. Bridget was thrilled.
Victoria smashed Jake's video camera on the floor. She offered to pay for it. He took fits and said he didn't want her money. She said he didn't want her either.
Carl read Chris' letter. He said he wouldn't leave Egypt alive.
The Corys are loading Nancy up with supplies: warm clothes, proper water, bug lotion. Nancy can't stand it. Mac slipped her a bankroll in secret and went to lobby for lighter luggage. Ada warned Nancy against getting carried away with romance and being taken advantage of. Nancy told her nothing would happen.
Marley went to the Loves' for her passport. Donna was wild to hear about Algeria and warned her against being taken as a fair-skinned wife. She suggested she and Victoria and Marley go to Europe. Marley said she was going to Algeria. Donna is mystified. She forbade it. Marley said she had to live her own life.
Jake told Victoria to leave him alone. He yelled at her for wanting to own him. She accused him of constantly thinking about Marley. She said she'd leave him. He told her not to come back. They yelled at each other. He told her to shut up about Marley. She told him Marley would see through him someday. She went to the door and waited for him to stop her. She reminded him she was leaving and he said GOOD. So she slammed the door behind her.
Donna told Daphne about Marley's decision. She hinted around after a job in Europe. Daphne told someone on the phone to send Kathleen to the Spanish room. Donna's ears pricked up and she said she'd see herself out.
Daphne told Carl Marley was determined to go. He said she couldn't go and he'd take care of it. Fayez offered to create an accident but Carl won't let her be hurt. He has another idea.
Edouard loves Kathleen's FAVOURABLE article about Lesoleil and advised her not to tease Cass. He thinks they're in love. She denies it. She agreed to show Cass the article. He's with Daphne.
Donna was seen snooping by a security guard but she produced her pass and satisfied him. He then gave her directions to the Spanish room.
Jake went to the Todds' restless and wanting that to talk to Carter. Tom let him in. Carter tried to escape leaving Jake to babysit but Tom made him stay to be talked to. Jake said he needed to borrow a video camera. Carter has a friend. He went to call him. Tom managed to elicit the fact that he[Jake] and Victoria were probably finished. He told her it had nothing to do with Marley [who heard all through the screen door] and left.
Cass told Daphne she had to repay the money. She's extremely unconcerned. He's angry because she's sinking Felicia. Daphne said she'd set it right when it suited her. He called her a cheat and said if she messed up Felicia's life he'd kill her. Enter Kathleen. Daphne left. Cass raved about Daphne. Kathleen gave him her article and said it was favourable. He asked why she'd kept him in the dark. She said she'd done it out of spite. He forgave her and admitted he could be a pompous ass sometimes. They got along swimmingly. She said they'd come a long way. He asked her out to dinner. So it's a date. He asked for a favour pertaining to Edouard.
Tom told Marley about Jake and Victoria and advised her to stick around because they still loved each other. Marley denied it. Tom told her she'd regret letting Vicky have him. And love had to be fought for.
Fayez snuck into Marley's apartment and stole her passport. He escaped unnoticed.
Bridget gave Victoria what for for screwing up. She told her she could get Jake back with Marley away.
Marley called Nancy and said she couldn't leave now because of school. Nancy was unthrilled. She told Ada she'd miss her. She rushed off to pack further. Mac told Ada she'd be able to call her. Ada said she wished someone like Chris Chapin were going along.
Carter suffered pain. Tom took fits at him. He refused to admit he shouldn't be playing. She yelled. She threatened to call the coach. He warned her not to cross him.
Cass asked Edouard to reappear in order to give Lesoleil publicity. Edouard declined. They heard the dogs.
Bridget told Marley how upset Victoria was and how much she loved Jake. Marley said she'd talk to Jake if he came by and left.
Edouard went to see who was about. A security guard told him the dogs were restless. Edouard went back inside but not before Donna had seen him.
Nancy was seen off in the company of Daphne and Fayez. Bon voyage.
