Mary saw the smashed photo and was concerned. Michael did not want to discuss it.

Sam tried to wake Amanda. He put his shirt back on to do it. He noticed she seemed ill.
Nicole struggled to her feet, massaging her neck. Then she turned and saw the truck bearing down on her.
Mary told Michael not to make major life decisions in the heat of the moment. He said it was too late. She said she was sorry she'd divorced Vince. She asked if he was prepared to spend the rest of his life without Donna.

Cass galloped across the road and dragged Nicole out of the way.
Donna was not delighted to see Mary. Marry advised her to go to Tops. Donna saw the smashed photo. Mary urged her to give Michael a little time. Donna said she had something to tell him that might make a difference.
Amanda said she was too sick to go home. Sam came back in time to hear Jamie say he didn't like the idea of Amanda's spending the night there. He gave Amanda the antacid. When she made a run for the bathroom, Sam and Jamie took the opportunity to be suspicious of each other. Sam said he made Marcus Welby look nonchalant and asked if Mandy was more than a patient to him.
Nicole told Cass, starry-eyed, he'd saved her life. He said he'd told her not to ride Challenger. She embraced him. He put her on his horse and led said horse back home.
Michael ordered a drink at Tops and let Barbara van Arkdale cozy up to him. Remember that summer in Biarritz? Donna came up and saw them dancing. Felicia found her in tears. Felicia turned off the music. Michael perceived Donna. Barbara slunk off.
Jamie said he'd known Amanda her whole life and she was his friend. He watched Sam's concern for Amanda and left her there in spite of his misgivings. Sam sat with Amanda.
Nicole thanked Cass for risking his life for her. She said she'd never been able to trust anyone until now. He has proved himself to her and she wants to marry him. He grinned. He said he liked and respected her and appreciated the way she had dispelled the worst of his grief. She said they could be married by Reverend Russell. He didn't recognize the name but pretended he remembered when he realized he should. He left her to rest. In the hall he told the redhead they'd won.
Michael did not want to hear what Donna had to say. He was not impressed by the hair and the fur and the dress and the verge of tears. He accused her of being like her father and walked back to Barbara at the bar. Felicia told Donna she had to tell him. Donna said it was no use and leaped into the elevator.
Sam was as sweet as could be to Amanda. She thanked him. He put on the music from the ballet Romeo and Juliet. He talked about the plot. She fell asleep. He dropped a kiss on her forehead. He held her when she woke and complained of chills. He refused to work until she felt better.
Donna told Bridget Michael wouldn't listen to her. Bridget told her Michael would be back. Donna went outside and heard When You Wish Upon a Star.
Mary came up to Michael in Tops and told him to call if he needed to talk. He thought about the ugly wedding.
Cass told the redhead Nicole trusted him completely and the wedding was in two weeks. Ye gods, he's an impostor. He has a funny accent and relies on a journal for information about his life. She hid when Nicole came out of the room. [Nicole] hugged Cass. He kissed her as the redhead looked on.
