ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

November 13, 1987

Nicole stubbornly phoned the stables to tell them to keep Challenger's engine running.

Felicia insisted on visiting Donna. She tried to rouse Donna from her mope. Donna just looked stupid.

Victoria told Michael no one would ever hurt him again. She embraced him protectively.

Sam got a little carried away for a minute but then he detached his lips from Amanda and punched his punching bag. He opened the window to cool himself off. She asked why he'd kissed her. He stared out the window. He was embarrassed. She closed the window. He told her she was pretty and he liked her. She asked why he liked her. He said she was easy to talk to. He said they couldn't get involved right now. She was unthrilled. He wants them to be friends. He got to work. [What happened to his meeting?]

Nicole enjoyed herself. Cass asked to see her Monte Carlo designs. He saw pizzazz in them. The manager came up to ask her to take an overseas phone call he couldn't transfer. Left alone, Cass phoned the redhead to report on his progress with Nicole and warned her to stay away.

Felicia tried to cheer Donna up. She advised her to look ahead. Donna said she didn't know what to do. Felicia told her to phone Michael so he would at least know she wanted to talk to him.

Victoria showed Zack out. The phone rang. Michael answered. It was Donna. She said she needed to see him. Michael said there was nothing to talk about and hung up. He covered his face. Victoria comforted him. She suggested they take his plane and party in a fun foreign city. He turned her down, reminding her she had a date with Adam. [How come he isn't the least bit funny about his daughter dating what amounts to his best friend? I obviously think of Adam as older than they do.] He had to pry her loose and forbade her to call him. Off the hook.

Sam accused Amanda of ignoring him. They argued. He told her she was taking this too personally. She accused him of being a yuppie. He can't get established until people buy his art, and they won't buy it unless they see it, and they can't see it because he doesn't have time to show it, because he has his graphics career to pay the bills he can't pay because he can't sell his real art. And so on. The same time he doesn't have to show his art he doesn't have to have a relationship. [I don't understand Joyce, then. He had a good job in Seattle, but he's been knocked down a few rungs because of CREATIVE DIFFERENCES.] He said he was going for a long walk. She picked up the painting she'd previously packaged and left with it once he was gone.

Felicia assured Donna she had made a good start. Donna is ready to throw in the towel. Jamie burst in with news. Felicia went off with Bridget. Jamie has the results to Donna's pregnancy test. She's pregnant. Donna was thrilled. Jamie said he hoped she and Michael could work it out. Exit Jamie. Donna summoned Felicia and Bridget to tell them. Felicia said it was a good sign. She told Donna to go to Michael with champagne.

Victoria met Lisa at the bar in Tops. Jamie's late. Wally broke it to Victoria that Adam had been forced to attend a murder. Victoria was a little disgruntled. An intern appeared out of nowhere and tried to improve her day. He said his name was Kirk Douglas. Vicky dragged Lisa to a table. Lisa told her his name really was Kirk Douglas. Vicky said that wasn't an issue. Lisa advocated having someone to fall in love with.

M Dupannier requires twice as many designs from Nicole because he alienated another designer. Nicole looks like thriving on the extra effort. She suggested another ride. She got to Challenger well ahead of Cass. He caught up and tried to stop her. She galloped away. He followed.

Victoria overheard Felicia tell Wally to get her The Champagne they bought at auction to give to Donna to give to Michael. She told Lisa she hoped Michael could hold out when she [Donna] brought out the crocodile tears. Sam came up looking for Mitch. Felicia made him confide in her. Uncharacteristically she advised him to take career over romance. She had to pry The Champagne from Wally's hands. Sam brooded silently. Exit Felicia. Wally watched Sam agonize.

Amanda let herself in again and started working. She ate Mexican takeout. Soon she gave up and turned the light off and undressed down to her camisole and got into his bed. After smiling for a couple of minutes she decided it was a bad idea, so she put her blouse back on, but was soon overcome by a stomach ache and nausea, it looked like. So she fell out of the blouse and back into bed.

Wally told Sam about the time he'd given up his job for an undercover cop when she seemed to be a Cuban mambo dancer. The point is, one should know one's beloved's credentials before doing anything rash. Victoria told Lisa Donna enjoyed hurting people too much to have changed. She decided to stop her. Lisa was unable to restrain her, but Jamie's arrival did.

Donna got dolled up. She has hope.

Michael tried unsuccessfully to work. He looked at a photograph of Donna instead.

Nicole galloped recklessly. Challenger threw her into the road into the path of an oncoming horse trailer. Cass yelled to her.

Sam found his apartment dark and undressed for bed. He was surprised to find her [Amanda] asleep in his bed.

Felicia was pleased with Donna's getup. She assured her the baby would have the desired effect. Donna got a registered letter from Zack's office.

Michael smashed the photo.
