Jake walked in and looked around.
Mitch returned home. He told Felicia he'd said goodbye to Loretta.
Mary showed up at Mary's Place to gaze at the bartender. She told Vince he wasn't very affable. He said he didn't want Jason around either of them. She agreed. A girl came in and said she was Tracy, looking for Kevin Julian. Cheryl, clearly wondering what Tracy's part in Kevin's life was, went to fetch him. Vince grumbled. Cheryl and Vince looked displeased when Kevin embraced Tracy.
Marley didn't exactly welcome Jake with open arms. He told her he missed her and he was taking her home so they could talk. She said they had talked. Impasse. When Bridget came in and saw Jake she hugged him joyfully.
Felicia and Mitch argued about everything. Mitch left.
Tracy told Kevin they had to talk privately. Kevin introduced his sister to the McKinnons and took her aside when Adam's arrival distracted the others. Tracy told Kevin she'd had a disgusting threatening note from Tad. He said he and Matt would look after her. She said she was afraid she'd been followed. He went to phone Matt. Cheryl asked Tracy if she was all right. Tracy lied.
Mac pled with a stockholder. He told him the rumour that he was selling was utterly false. Rachel composed a newsletter. Matthew came in and found Mac refusing to rest. Matthew offered to help. Mac gave him a delivery to take to Cass. Kevin phoned and asked Matthew to meet him.
Marley averted her eyes while Jake and Bridget chatted. Vicky came home with Mikey and was surprised to see Jake. Marley turned away.
Rachel and Mac were concerned about Matthew's secretiveness.
Marley fled upstairs. Bridget took Mikey. Vicky asked Jake about him and Marley.
Felicia discarded her boa when she found the Muse wasn't in it. Mitch phoned and asked her to come to the darkroom at Brava. Felicia rushed off.
Vince told Adam love agreed with him [Vince] and Mary and he recognized a longing face when he saw one and he [Adam] ought to get in touch with MJ. Adam admitted he still thought about her. Enter Matthew. He was surprised to see Tracy. He told her to go back to her aunt's. She insisted on staying.
Vicky told Jake she didn't know what was going on with him and Marley but she advised him to talk to Marley. He went upstairs. Bridget brought Mikey in. Vicky bitched about Lisa's interference. Marley and Jake came down. Bridget took Mikey to bed. [Mikey reaches for Vicky but his arms just hang there when he's handed to Bridget.] Marley left. Jake stared at Vicky.
Felicia ran into the darkroom in a panic and asked what the trouble was. Mitch turned the light off and took Felicia in his arms.
Vince was pleased when Jake dropped by. Adam said hello. Cheryl hugged him. Jake mentioned he'd visited MJ who was working too hard with no personal life. Adam looked uncomfortable. He said goodbye. Jake realized he'd put his foot in it. He said MJ was still hung up on Adam. Jake and Vince discussed the fact that their wives are 10 times better than they could ever hope to be and it kind of awes them. Marley evidently has reason to look down on Jake.
Felicia was mad when she heard there was no emergency. She ranted and raved and turned on the light. He wouldn't let her leave. She fussed. He put the key down his pants. She refused to go after it. She was standoffish. He went back to work. She fought against her interest in what he was doing until she saw he was developing photos of her. [The light has been on and off too often for this, of course.] He was sweet. She relented. Kissing.
Tracy is an extremely short person. Cheryl told Kevin she'd thought Tracy was his girlfriend. They kind of laughed. Mary broke it up. Matthew and Tracy and Kevin left. Mary told Cheryl Kevin seemed nice and mature. Cheryl said he was still in high school. She told Mary she was sick of being a sweet kid and she wanted people to see her as interesting. Mary could not convince her she was fine. Cheryl said she had to do something about it.
Mac and Rachel worked. The situation is pretty bad. Rachel said she wasn't worried about the money as much as she worried about him. Matthew came in and mentioned Tracy's arrival. Mac said he couldn't break for dinner. Matthew said he'd go to Mitch and Felicia's.
Jake found Vicky reading a letter. He asked what the matter was. She said the welfare board was going to investigate her periodically. She said Lisa would sabotage her. In fact she suspected Lisa had put the welfare board up to it.
Mitch and Felicia made-up. He told her she'd have to get the key if she wanted to get out. She backed him up against the door. Kissing.
