Vicky was disappointed Jamie hadn't called. The bell rang. Vicky opened the door.
Felicia sat in the dark. She was vague with Mitch.
When Louie came over Sam tried to get rid of Amanda.
Lisa was dropping off a gift for Michael and Donna. She was fairly hostile. She told Vicky that Jamie would eventually catch on and she'd be alone again.
Mitch told Felicia she didn't use the children in her books as mere plot points, she created real characters. He said she he thought she'd make a wonderful mother. She cried and said she was loud and extravagant like Loretta. He said the difference was that she considered people human.
Sam talked to Louie out in the hall. Louie seemed sceptical when Sam said he would come back to work soon. When Sam came back in Amanda demanded answers.
Matthew stayed over at the Corys'. They were surprised to hear Kevin had got his own apartment. When they started talking about calling Kevin's father Matthew started asking about the takeover. Loretta staggered in and said she had terrible news and she had to go back to Seattle. Humphrey is not well. [Humphrey, as you will recall, is her cat.] Mac was not sorry to see her go.
Mitch left for work with things still unresolved. Lisa dropped by. She told her all about Jamie's iniquity. Felicia was ready to choke Victoria but she said Jamie was a grownup who knew what he was doing. Lisa broke down and wept and said she loved Jamie and would give him a second chance.
Marley found Vicky looking drained. Vicky was gratuitously mean to her.
Sam told Amanda about his eyes but tried to reassure her about his condition. She calmed down eventually. Kissing.
Lisa warned Felicia not to let Mitch go and left. Felicia phoned him at work but he wasn't in. Loretta dropped by to say goodbye. Felicia told her she couldn't go without seeing Mitch. Loretta refused to let Mitch yell at her any more and left. Mitch came in. Felicia asked if he was happy his mother was leaving. He said he'd wait until she actually left. Felicia was horrified. She begged Mitch to talk to Loretta.
Loretta said goodbye to Sam and Amanda. Amanda said they'd miss her. Sam stared at the floor. Amanda left them alone. Loretta told Sam she'd stay if he needed her. He said they were fine. He suggested she call. He promised to call once a week. She said she loved Amanda and Felicia and her boys and her cats loved her. Sam was unable to say he loved her until she'd gone.
Lisa found Adam reading the paper. She told him she wanted to come back to work. He cheered. She made certain he understood it was to be strictly professional. He put her to work on Mikey's case. She asked who in his or her right mind would allow someone as unintelligent and unstable as Victoria to look after a baby. Enter Mary.
Amanda got upset when she found out Rachel and Mitch had known about Sam's vision before she had.
Adam and Mary gave Lisa reasons why Vicky was good for Mikey. Lisa was not much reassured. When Mary found out Vicky and Mikey had moved into Michael and Donna's suite she said it was against the rules and she'd have to call Vicky on it.
Marley fretted because Vicky hates Lisa the way she used to hate her. Bridget refused to comment. Marley looked at a photo of Jake and felt a certain kinship with Lisa.
Mac said Amanda and Sam were better people for loving each other. Mitch dropped by. Mac sort of rebuked Mitch for employing Kevin and giving him the opportunity to stay in Bay City. Mitch said it was inevitable. Mac and Rachel left Mitch alone with Loretta when she came down. Mitch apologized for yesterday's explosion. Loretta admitted she'd blamed him for too much. He offered her a lift to the airport. She said she had one. She said she loved him. He wouldn't let her kiss him.
Vicky brought Mikey down to the police station. She didn't like it when Mary had Lisa take him out in the hall. Mary told Vicky if she didn't obey the rules she'd have to have Mikey taken away from her. Vicky said Adam and Lisa had done this just to spite her. She announced herself determined to keep Mikey.
Marley was surprised when Jake showed up on the doorstep.
