Only Michael could have convinced Donna to surf. He told her she looked like a goony bird in the South Pacific. She told him she could play ping pong. She said she could cherish this trip no matter what happened. She has taken a dislike to Reginald's wife because she's Reginald's wife.
Peter collected his scattered wits. Marissa told him she wanted to have a family reunion. Brittany was thrilled. Marley cruised through with her wedding dress. Everyone was charmed.
Scott tried to placate Kathleen. He failed and fled. Kathleen turned on Cass and fled. Cass reassured a passing waiter. The waiter was confused.
Rachel looked at clothes. Felicia: Are you sure that this complete makeover is going to help your sculptor's block? Rachel: what do you do for writer's block? Felicia: EARRINGS. She asked if Mitch had said something derogatory about her appearance and work. Rachel was forced to admit it. Felicia told her Mitch's opinion didn't matter. He's just a hunk of no account. They found something swell.
Peter called Miss Weston to get Peter Reginald back for Brittany.
MJ and Adam asked about 1969 and Mary. The manager remembered something.
Donna and Michael returned to Bay City. Donna wishes her father would fall prey to a school of piranha (or is that pariahs?). Michael told her all would be well.
Scott apologised to Cheryl. She was not exactly receptive. Ada took Scott's side. And then she found out what Scott had done. She said it was a good thing Vince wasn't there.
Marley tried on her wedding dress. Jake is coming so they have to hide it. Brittany cruised through breathing funny and looking for Miss Weston. Bridget told Marley Brittany and Peter were at each other's throats. Exit Bridget. Enter Brandon Reginald.
MJ and Adam threatened to broadcast the news that the manager had given them information if he didn't cooperate. He gave in. He said Reginald had stayed there alone but he'd visited the hospital across the street a lot. They went to check hospital records. It was not easy. It got more difficult when Reginald's name was mentioned.
Kathleen yelled at Cass for concealing Scott's identity. He said this was not the Capulets and Montagues. Some people are good and some are bad. Scott is good and Reginald is bad. It doesn't matter that they are related. So he gave Scott a chance. Kathleen was mollified. She refused to admit he was right. He begged forgiveness. She smacked him and called him a jerk. He offered his condolences and promised not to keep secrets. They thought about how to break it to Vince. Cass thought about Marley as a convenient parallel.
Ada told Cheryl she should give Scott a break. She served Mitch a drink. (Innocent iced tea.) Felicia heralded Rachel's entrance. Ada: RACHEL. Rachel: is that a positive Rachel or a negative Rachel? Silence. Felicia rushed Rachel off to see Maisie (and get away from Mitch?)
Cheryl apologised to Scott (he forgave her) and said she would not be talking to him much anymore. He was taken aback.
Marley was not pleased to see her grandfather. She told him she didn't want him there or at her wedding and he couldn't stop it and she wasn't impressed with him. He was delighted and patronising. He told her he wanted whatever she wanted and promised her anything and said he wished he'd been invited to her wedding. Enter the avenging father.
Rachel stood in the middle of Mary's Place and insisted she'd done all for Mac. She rushed home. Felicia said something cryptic to Mitch and left. Seconds later she stomped back in without a working car. Mitch offered to take a look. Ada encouraged it.
MJ and Adam pressed a hospital guy to cooperate. He got weird.
Michael ordered Reginald out. Reginald behaved like an idiot for a bit and left. Michael told Marley to have Jake come over. IT'S NONE OF HER BUSINESS WHY. She went to change. Adam phoned. Miss Weston returned with the baby and Brittany snatched him from her, breathing funny.
Cass spread sweetness and light and flowers.
Adam released MJ from stalling the hospital guy. He told her the hospital was owned by Reginald Love.
Peter told Reginald they needed to talk about his [Reginald's] wife.
Mitch gave Felicia a lift home. Her apt had been ransacked and a dead rat suspended from the ceiling.
