ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

November 15, 1984

Grant and Quinn are on excellent terms. Carter is talking about having polished off two platefuls of salty caviar. (Fine. Fine. Talk nonsense. Just see if I care.) Carter and Quinn are pleased that Grant's happy.

Peter awoke. Emily forced aspirin on him. She "confessed" to putting liquor in his juice because he was under so much stress. She teased him about not having a hollow leg. He apologized for passing out. His head feels a little funny. She promised him an omelet. He said he has to go see Donna about Mark.

Lily arrived to see Grant but he's gone off with Quinn. Carter just said "things around here are pretty perfect" (and Catlin and Sally in Spain!) Lily is glad Grant has something other than Carter to boss. So is Carter. Carter misses Lily around the apartment. He says he's utterly grateful to whoever put up the money so Perry could buy Tallboys. Lily is pleased.

Marley wants to talk to Donna. Nancy's visiting. Nancy told Marley about Ben's concern for her . Marley is upset about him missing the game. Nancy thinks it's romantic. Marley has returned home, by the way.

Cass and Kathleen--arguing. They found "No. 23." Whenever that is. Cass made Kathleen wait somewhere for him while he talked to a man. A lot of Spanish music. No talking. Seņor Sanchez and Juana. Cass is talking to Seņor Sanchez about horses and Cecile. The man didn't recognize Cecile but he was a bit strange about the insignia. He finally said he didn't recognize it either. For some reason Cass is very eager to look out the window. He went out and yelled for Kathleen. "Cecile!" He yelled to her but she couldn't hear. He told Kathleen he'd seen Cecile sitting on a bench but they missed her.

Grant asked Quinn out. She says she wants to but she can't because of Lily. He says whatever they had is over.

Perry serving Marley. Silly chatter. Ben arrived to see Marley. Nancy and Perry left discreetly. They're going on a picnic. Marley called Ben down for missing a game. He said she's the only thing that's important to him. He asked after Donna. Marley insisted Donna's innocent.

Cass and Kathleen went back to see Seņor Sanchez but he's made off with the sketch and the photograph.

Quinn asked Lily if she would mind if she went out with Grant. Lily gave permission (seemingly freely and and unconcernedly.) but she's unhappy.

Cass and Kathleen went back to the hotel.

Joyce told Emily about Mark. And his guardian angel Alice. Emily went to check on him.

Peter told Donna about Mark. She was thrilled at first because she figured that this cleared her. Peter set her straight. Donna feels like she's losing her mind. She's upset. "It's so noisy. And this filth!" She agonizes about Marley too. She's falling apart.

Lily "Stupid mascara. Stupid tissues. Stupid everything." She's crying.

Catlin and Sally spent the day betting on horses and losing. Sally: Oh, if only we could've gotten down to the paddock and talked to some of those breeders. Catlin: Well, it's a little hard to get past the guards when you don't speak Spanish. Sally: Well on could've done that. That one guard was real interested in me. Catlin: Too interested. Sally: Well, you shouldn't've stopped me. I was just going to show that guard a little leg. Catlin: Uh-uh. no way would he have settled for that. I wouldn't. Sally: You wouldn't? Catlin: No if you had done that to me I would've swept you off your feet, thrown you on my palomino, and taken you to my Rancho in the hills. Sally: Rancho in the hills? Catlin: Beach house by the bay? Sally: No. Catlin: Cabin in the woods? Sally: No. Catlin: One-bedroom apartment on Fourth Avenue? Sally: Yeah. Now you're talking. Catlin: Hey, wait a minute. We had a date. Sally: We did? Catlin: Didn't we just go to the racetrack and sit with each other and hold hands, and have lunch, and a glass of wine? Sally: We did! We went on a date! Catlin: So your plan worked. Sally: Yeah. Catlin: Well, it didn't work exactly right, but it did work better than mine. Sally: An honest to goodness, get down, no fooling around date! Catlin: Uh-uh, no way. Sally: Why? Catlin: The honest to goodness get down part, OK. But the rest? Uh-uh . Sally: What, no fooling around? Catlin: This date is not over yet. Sally: No? Catlin: And the way I see it, we've got a whole lot of fooling around to do. Sally: We do? Catlin M-hm, a whole, whole lot. Sally: Well, my plan was brilliant. Lots of kissing. That whole bit was interspersed with it, natch. Cass and Kathleen returned. Cass: Well, I'm glad somebody's having a nice day. Catlin: Well it sure could be better. Sally: Much. Kathleen: Oh, really? Have you ever had to sit out in the hot sun with one of these babies on? Sally: No. Catlin: Did anything happen? Cass: I saw Cecile. Sally: You're kidding! Cass, that's great! Cass: no, it's not. I didn't get to her. Catlin: Why not? Cass: Well I was too far away. I was up in Sanchez ' s office. He told them of what happened. He doesn't suspect Sanchez of anything.

Sanchez went to Ross.

Cass and Kathleen took their leave. Catlin: Alone at last. Sally: Mm. Oh! Now would be a good time to call my mom. (Really, Sally.) Catlin: Oh. Good idea. Sally called and talked to Emily of all people. And told her where she was down to the room number . Good going. (Why doesn't she call Aunt Liz? At home.)
