ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

May 15, 1987

Adam and Jamie argued about which of them wanted the killer caught more. Jamie insisted he did because of Lisa.

Chad told MJ he'd figured out all of the symbols except one, an apple with a snake wrapped around it. He was a regular. Since the symbol conjures up images of the original sin*, it could well signify the Sin Stalker.

Felicia advised Donna to calm down and organize herself.

John was not pleased to see Michael. He said he didn't want to talk. Michael accused him of being defensive. They accused each other of being rough and dirty basketball players. They reminisced about the Big Game. Michael had messed up and John won the game.

Felicia told Donna that nothing could destroy her marriage. She advised her to be subtle and calm. Donna asked her to come along home. Felicia went to tell Wallingford where she was going. He was swotting up on the bartender's manual. Someone had ordered a Haitian Hurricane. He said Mitch would have known how to make one.

The apple guy had seen Linda the day before her murder. MJ fretted about blackmail. Chad said he'd talk to another pimp. MJ moaned that Adam would hate her forever.

Jamie took Lisa out for fresh air and a surprise. Adam warned him the killer might go after him too. Lisa said the killer was thinking about a woman. Adam speculated about the killer's being a woman and discarded it. He suggested she imagine the accomplice was a woman. She thought it was a good idea.

Chad told MJ that if Adam would leave her over something like this he didn't deserve to marry her. [And I suppose man who would cause her to do something like this does?] She asked if he'd use the tape against her. Chad said he wanted her back desperately but he wouldn't do anything like that. He said she wouldn't go through the with the wedding because she was too honest. She said she would destroy the tape and marry Adam. He asked if she could live and never see him again. He cornered a sleaze and threatened him with Linda's book. The sleaze told him Billy answered to the agent.

John accused Michael of having made all the decisions in everything. Michael said his decisions had been made for the good of the family. Like changing the name from Garrison because dad had come to church drunk and cheated on mom and generally behaved disgracefully. He abandoned them. Michael had to work. John sulked because he'd had to change his name with them. Michael told him to change it back. John yelled. He accused him of being bossy and mercenary and unloving. He said the past twenty years had been the best of his life. Twenty years without Mike. Michael asked why he'd come back. John said it wasn't home any more and left. Michael yelled after him. Chris recognized Michael and then John by association. [Moment. If they claim John Hudson was the name in high school, why hadn't Donna known about the name change?]

Donna fretted. Felicia soothed her. They heard John coming home. Felicia went to look at the Singapore clothes. Donna said, "John, I want to talk to you." That Old Carrot poked his head in — he had been the one to come in.

Adam brooded. MJ showed up looking down. She said she could use a hug. They were interrupted by a new message on the computer. "don't trace the line it will only scramble if you annoy me I may start to ramble interested in the rest of mystery connect me with detective Cory." ** Adam talked back. The caller identified himself as the Sin Stalker. He said he liked the psychic. He taunted Adam and rang off. Adam noticed that the killer used only one space after a period and ordered typing samples. MJ wilted. Adam said they could go home and let someone else do it. He apologized for having been hard to live with and said nothing would stand between them after they caught the stalker.

Lisa turned out to be overdressed for a picnic sur la plage. Jamie coaxed. Killer music. It's to be a nighttime picnic.

Felicia returned to look after Donna. That Old Carrot went on about Singapore and the undead brother. Donna told him to stay away from John. Enter John. That Old Carrot introduced himself. "Great. See ya," said John. That Old Carrot asked him to spare a few minutes for a chat. He laughed about their both being undead. John said he had a plane to catch. Michael burst in. That Old Carrot said he wanted to offer John a job.

Wallingford reminded Jamie that Lisa was his best friend's niece. Jamie said he'd be a perfect gentleman. Lisa appeared, redressed. She insisted on wearing Tony's bracelet. Jamie beeped. Lisa told Wallingford to tell Felicia where she was. Killer music. Providentially Jamie didn't have to go to the hospital. They wondered if Mitch could be the attraction bei Love.

MJ wouldn't let Adam call headquarters from home. He apologized for even thinking it. She claimed there was nothing wrong. He accused her of being worried and jumpy and falsely chipper. He said he hadn't thought postponing the wedding had meant that much to her. She said no one had ever made her feel the way he did. She said she was afraid of losing him and said she needed to know if he really loved her. MJ: you're still upset that I was with Chad that night, aren't you. Adam: just forget it. MJ: NO. Is that what's really been bothering you this whole time? Adam: you should have told me sooner. MJ: I KNOW and I said I'm sorry. What else can I do? Adam: this whole business just threw me for a loop, you have to understand that. MJ: I'm sorry. I didn't realize how much I'd hurt you. Adam: it's a risk you take when you love somebody. [oof.] but you have to trust the people you love so you're willing to take the risk. I love you, MJ. That has never changed. MJ: I love you, too. Silence. Adam vetoed all serious talk. MJ worried about the awful videotape.

Mother berated us for having let Nancy escape. She said things about Felicia's filthy books and her dating TWO MEN. She probably went too far with Mitch Blake.

John told everyone to stuff it and stomped out That Old Carrot pretended he was the only reasonable person in the room and left. Michael said he had to find out what was bothering John. Donna protested feebly. Michael left. Felicia told Donna she had to talk to John. Letting the problem go away wouldn't solve anything.
